Higher rotational speeds and longer centrifugation times are typically used to separate heavier components, while smaller rotational speeds and short times are used to separate lighter components.

5.Perform centrifugation Place the sealed centrifuge tube into the centrifuge, making sure the centrifuge lid is closed and securely locked. Start the centrifuge and let the centrifuge run for the time it takes.

6.When the stop centrifugation time is over, stop the centrifuge and carefully remove the centrifuge tube. Be careful not to invert or shake the centrifuge tube to avoid mixing the separated ingredients.

7.ObservationsObserve the sample in the tube, where the heavy components are deposited at the bottom of the tube and the light components float on it. Both ingredients can be transferred separately to a new container for further analysis and research as needed.

Precautions for the use of centrifuge tubes:

2.When using centrifuge tubes, pay attention to the bottom of the centrifuge tube with the fixed adapter on the centrifuge to ensure safety.

3.When sampling, avoid reusing the same centrifuge tube to avoid interfering with the assay results.

4.The carrying range of the tube, i.e. the capacity of the sample must not exceed the limit of the tube, otherwise it will cause damage to the tube. In particular, the centrifuge tube should not exceed its volume.

5.Centrifuge tubes should not be used for too long, generally not more than 12 months.
