A few days ago, members of the Pengpu Xincun Street Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Team found dozens of bags of decoration garbage piled up at the door of the store when they inspected the front of a store on Wenxi Road, and then found the person in charge of the scene to ask.
After inquiry, it was learned that the shop was being renovated, but it had not signed a contract with any operator for the collection and transportation of decoration garbage. The person in charge of the site felt that the decoration garbage was piled up outside the store at will, and the sanitation workers who were responsible for road cleaning every day would help to clean it. In the face of the "assumption" of the person in charge of the scene, the members of the law enforcement team conducted legal education on him, informing him that the behavior was suspected of not disposing of decoration waste in accordance with the relevant provisions.
According to Article 51 of the Regulations on the Management of City Appearance and Environmental Sanitation in Shanghai, decoration garbage should be collected and transported by the city appearance and environmental operation service unit in accordance with the regulations, and the person responsible for the management of decoration waste such as property service enterprises should hand over the decoration waste to its collection and transportation. If the person in charge of decoration management hands over the decoration waste to the unqualified operating unit at will, it may lead to the decoration waste will not be able to enter the first link and become waste, which will have an impact on the environment and public safety.
After conducting on-site education, the members of the law enforcement team also made on-site law enforcement documents and fixed on-site evidence, and at the same time interviewed the person in charge to further understand the situation.
Pengpu Xincun Street Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Team said
The law enforcement team will continue to strengthen inspections, crack down on the outsourcing or private disposal of decoration waste, further standardize the transportation of decoration waste, and protect the cleanliness and orderliness of the city's appearance and environment.
