On February 1, under the overall guidance of the State Port Office and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce (Port Office), the Guangdong Branch of the General Administration of Customs, Shenzhen Customs, Gongbei Customs and Hong Kong Customs, the Guangdong-Hong Kong "One Order, Two Declarations" application was officially launched.
This is the latest initiative to facilitate customs clearance between Guangdong and Hong Kong under the framework of the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Relying on the construction of Guangdong's "single window", the application provides "one single and two declarations" services for the customs clearance of goods at highway ports of mainland and Hong Kong enterprises by electronic and information means.
After the application was launched, the number of required data entry items for Hong Kong enterprises in Hong Kong has been reduced from 9 to 0, which has greatly improved work efficiency and reduced the time and cost of customs clearance. This will provide innovative services for customs clearance facilitation for enterprises related to goods between Guangdong and Hong Kong, and effectively promote the sharing and interoperability of customs clearance data between enterprises in Guangdong and Hong Kong.
