In 1964, Chiang Kai-shek sat alone in his room at the Shilin Mansion in Taipei, with no expression on his grim face, looking intently at the documents in his hand.
Suddenly, his son Chiang Ching-kuo knocked on the door and walked in, holding a thick stack of black and white ** in his hand. These ** were taken when the Kuomintang ** cooperated with the United States to send planes to the mainland for reconnaissance missions.
Chiang Ching-kuo handed the ** to his father, only to see Chiang Kai-shek holding a magnifying glass to carefully examine each **. Suddenly, he burst into tears: "I'm not as good as ***!" ”
Have Ueliang and the children go to your grandmother's grave to say goodbye to her. ”
For Chiang Kai-shek, his mother, Wang Caiyu, played a crucial role in his life. After the death of Chiang's father, the family was in trouble, and Chiang Kai-shek, who had a stubborn personality, relied on his mother's strong support when he was 32 years old.
However, life challenges followed, Jiang's younger brother and sister died one after another, and his half-brother broke up and took possession of most of the family property. Wang Caiyu was determined to make his son stand out and raised him with great pain, and finally died of overwork in 1921 at the age of 58.
Jiang's mother left her last words before her death, not to bury her with Jiang's father. Chiang Kai-shek obeyed his mother's orders, specially found the best local feng shui master, and chose a flat land on the back of the fish scale in Baiyan Mountain in the north of Xikou to bury his mother.
Mr. Feng Shui believes that this is the "belly button eye of Maitreya Buddha", a real treasure of Feng Shui.
In order to commemorate his mother's 60th birthday, Chiang Kai-shek built three western-style houses near the tomb site and named them "Ci'an", which were used as places to worship his parents' shrines and live in the future.
He planned to be buried here a hundred years later, but later the official became bigger and bigger, and he wanted to be buried in Nanjing, which was very entangled. In the end, when the People's Liberation Army was about to reach Xikou, Chiang Kai-shek did not need to worry about it anymore, and he could not be buried in Ci'an or Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum.
When Chiang Kai-shek, dressed in a robe and a top hat, brought his son, daughter-in-law, grandson and entourage to his mother's grave, he was silent for a long time, lifted the hem of his clothes and knelt down, and then began to cry profusely.
Although Chiang Kai-shek was confident that the Great Southwest and the island of Taiwan could help him make a comeback, he knew deep down that he might never be able to visit his mother's grave again after leaving this time.
He said goodbye to his mother and left on a boat, looking at his mother's grave from afar, his eyes were full of mixed emotions, in addition to reluctance and guilt, there was also fear. Chiang Kai-shek was a superstitious man, and his greatest fear was the destruction of ancestral tombs.
He even thinks that he was able to occupy a high position because of the location of his mother's grave.
When the Japanese army attacked Xikou in April 1941, he said: "I don't have any anxiety in my heart, I only think about the graves of my grandfather and my mother, and I don't know if it has been destroyed by these wild beasts." Are my sisters and sisters-in-law safe? He also secretly sent people to the occupied area to photograph the ** of the ci'an and the ancestral tomb to confirm that they were not damaged before he was relieved.
It stands to reason that even the most unreasonable person will not destroy other people's ancestral graves, not to mention that our party is well aware of the righteousness. Who would have nothing to do with the dead?
However, Chiang Kai-shek was worried that *** would order his ancestral grave to be dug up, because Chiang Kai-shek himself was this kind of person who lacked virtue to smoke. After the Autumn Harvest Uprising was launched in 1927, the "three digging of Mao's ancestral grave" incident gradually became Chiang Kai-shek's "henchman", especially after he went to Jinggangshan and joined the army, the momentum was unprecedented.
In order to eliminate this "trouble of confidants", Chiang Kai-shek urgently ordered He Jian, chairman of Hunan Province and commander-in-chief of the Fourth Road, to send troops to "encircle and suppress." As a result, He Jian sent troops several times, but he didn't say anything, and his hometown Changsha was also taken out by the Red Army, and Chiang Kai-shek was so angry when he heard the news that He Jian was scolded bloody.
He Jian thought hard about good strategies and sought a winning strategy. Among them, the insidious suggestion of "digging up his family's ancestral grave and destroying the 'dragon vein' of the Mao family" was made by his friend Wu Kai.
Wu Kai believes that this place of Shaoshan has a profound historical heritage, and even during the southern tour of Emperor Shun, the famous Shao music was played here, hence the name. In addition, the Tiger Xieping of Shaoshan has its own uniqueness, it is said that this is the feng shui treasure land selected by the "old immortals" funded by Mao Siduan, the great-grandfather of the year, and the legend has it that the eight immortals once entertained here.
Mao Siduan chose to rest his eternal resting place somewhere else, but left Hu Xieping to his two sons, hoping that one of them would be buried here. As a result, this proposal has caused a lot of controversy.
Mao Yichen died in 1904 before his brother Mao Dechen, but there was a conflict between his son Mao Shunsheng and his uncle, and he was suspicious of Mao Dechen's behavior of leaving them the treasure of feng shui.
Despite many quarrels, Mao Shunsheng finally decided to put his father's coffin on the big stone drum and observe it for a while before making a decision. Eight years later, Mao Shunsheng's vein did not encounter calamity, so he chose an auspicious day of the zodiac to bury his father.
Although the matter was kept secret by the Mao family, it spread in Shaoshan and was even made up into a song by the locals praising the beauty of this treasure land of feng shui.
He Jian, a high-achieving student who graduated from the Baoding Army Military Academy, should not believe in the superstitious saying of feng shui. But unfortunately, he is a superstitious person.
Once, He Jian broke down in the middle of the car, the road was very narrow at that time, He Jian walked cautiously, and suddenly a big car rushed over, He Jian only felt in his heart "My life is resting", but what he didn't expect was that he actually recited a sentence "Amitabha", and the car rushed directly into the ravine.
He Jian believed that the Buddha had blessed him, which made him even more convinced of the theory of Feng Shui. He heard that the ancestral tomb of the *** family is a treasure of feng shui, so he believes that destroying the tomb can cut off the "dragon vein" of the Mao family.
Thinking that he had a plan, he secretly reported this "big plan" to Chiang Kai-shek, claiming that he had come up with it himself.
Chiang Kai-shek and He Jian were also convinced of Feng Shui, and He Jian made a proposal to Chiang Kai-shek, hoping that he would appreciate it and take action. One day in June 1932, He Jian gathered several of his henchmen together and asked them to go to Shaoshan to dig the ancestral grave of the *** family.
Considering that *** has a high reputation in the local area, the cooperation of directly asking the locals may be very low, so He Jian specially asked Gong Shu, the captain of the special service of the Hunan Station of the Military Command, and Xiao Dingyuan, the special agent, to disguise themselves as the Red Army to find Mao Yuju, the teacher of ***, and they said that they were sent by Commissar Mao to "sweep the tomb", and gave Mao Yuju a handful of silver dollars as a "benefit fee".
Mao Yuju quickly understood their true intentions, but did not immediately reveal them, but "happily" took them to the ancestral tomb of the rich man Mao Junxian, claiming that it was the ancestral tomb of ***.
Because the words of Mao Junxian's ancestral grave were blurred, Gong Shu and Xiao Dingyuan believed it, and led people to dig up the grave that night and threw the bones inside into the ravine.
Chiang Kai-shek wants to dig up my ancestral grave, which is to lose the hearts of the people, and those who lose the hearts of the people will not be able to gain the world. The core idea of the new copy is: if you do something to someone today, someone else may do you the other way tomorrow, so be on your guard.
At the same time, ** has his own way of dealing with the issue of the ancestral grave of the Jiang family, and he uses this incident to warn others that those who lose the hearts of the people will not be able to gain the world.
Even if his ancestral grave was threatened, he never had the idea of revenge. On the contrary, when the People's Liberation Army marched into Zhejiang, he issued an order that the troops should not destroy the residences, ancestral halls, and other buildings in Chiang Kai-shek's hometown when they occupied Fenghua.
He also instructed the local authorities to restore and protect the buildings. * Always adhere to materialism and do not believe in Feng Shui. When he returned to Shaoshan in 1959, he listened to a report from a comrade from the Provincial Public Security Department on the digging of his ancestral grave by the Kuomintang, and he said: "The Kuomintang is really ridiculous and stupid, and we Communists are thorough materialists and do not believe in feng shui.
However, I still have to admit this fact to the parents of those who gave birth to me, and to the party, comrades, and friends who taught me. The core idea of the new copywriting is that as a materialist, he always believes that he does not take personal grievances as the starting point, and pays attention to the protection of cultural heritage and historical sites, demonstrating his humanistic care and noble qualities.
Although the decision made by the Kuomintang was considered "utterly stupid", the chairman expressed his "deserved it" attitude after learning that the person who excavated his ancestral grave was the culprit who killed the revolutionary martyr Guo Liang and had been shot.
This can be understood as a broad-minded person, but why do you want to send someone to protect the ancestral grave of Chiang Kai-shek's family? This undoubtedly reflects the foresight of his old man.
Although our army played a triumphant song at that time, and it seemed that it would soon be able to reach Taiwan and capture Chiang Kai-shek alive, who could guarantee that the campaign to liberate Taiwan would go smoothly? Therefore, it is very necessary to protect Chiang Kai-shek's ancestral home and ancestral grave, because this can show the sincerity of our side in the negotiations.
In fact, during his stay in Taiwan, Chiang Kai-shek missed his hometown all the time, and even named his station after the place names of Xikou, such as "Jiaofu", "Xuedou Mountain", and "Myokotai".
Jiang Zhongzheng, an old man in a foreign country, cherishes his homeland and never forgets his hometown. He once regarded Kinmen as a microcosm of the mainland, and even inspecting Kinmen was regarded as "going to the mainland."
He used the U-2 reconnaissance plane to express his yearning for his hometown. Once, the scout flew to the mouth of the creek to take a few ** photos of Jiang Zhongzheng, looking at the buildings that were unchanged from back then, he couldn't help crying.
He ordered the excavation of ***'s ancestral grave, but protected ***'s ci'an, which made him feel deeply guilty, he said: "I'm not as good as ***!" He put the text messages of ** and *** in the drawer, and this text message only had one sentence: "The tomb of Fenghua is still there, and the flowers and plants of Xikou are safe." ”
Jiang Zhongzheng's homesickness deeply touched us, and made us wonder what our hometown means to a person, and whether we should also cherish and protect our hometown. February** Dynamic Incentive Program
