Elephant News reporter Shen Zizhong Xu Zhaopeng
February 5, Zhengzhou, Henan. At about 10:43 a.m., the Elephant News reporter took the B11 bus, and when he passed through the Jingguang Expressway Bridge in the Nanyang New Village to Shakou Road section of Agricultural Road, he suddenly encountered a private car spontaneously combusted, and the female owner holding the dog intercepted the passing vehicle in a hurry to seek help. The reporter filmed the whole process of the rescue of the bus driver and passengers at the scene.
Spontaneously combusted a black Porsche SUV with a fire raging in the front hood at the time of the incident. The first thing that was stopped for help by the owner was the B11 bus that was traveling from east to west. At that time, the bus commander Master Mao didn't say a word, and quickly found a fire extinguisher from the middle of the bus, and a passenger wearing a gray eiderdown jacket sitting in the front row also held a fire extinguisher and joined the rescue team.
Because the owner had already used his own fire extinguisher to rescue in the early stage, the fire on the front face was quickly suppressed. But there were still flashes of fire at the bottom of the vehicle, scurrying up from time to time. Fortunately, there were 100 and B102 buses passing by, and several drivers and other passing car owners picked up fire extinguishers and rushed to the fire point, and some drivers also brought a box of pure water to join the rescue. The whole extinguishing process lasted about 6 minutes, and 12 fire extinguishers were used successively to finally control the fire.
After extinguishing the fire, the captains were already disgraced after the smoke and fire, and because the buses were carrying passengers, they packed up their fire extinguishers and hurriedly drove away.
The reporter interviewed on the scene in the car, and Master Mao, the head of the B11 car full of smoke and dust on the tooling, said, "It's all a gesture." Mr. Zhao, a heroic passenger at the scene, also refused to reveal too much, saying only that it was "as it should be".
