Science Open Class (Season 5) is a pure public welfare and fully open science education series jointly created by the Bureau of Academic Affairs of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Department of Basic Education of the Ministry of Education for young people, with a total of 20 episodes of four theme series: "Human Body Decoding", "Starry Sky Search", "Earth Search" and "Spiritual Dialogue". From brain memory to human immunity, to medical imaging to study human health; From distant black holes to near-Earth planetary meteorites to the latest lunar soil research; From climate warming to the journey to the earth, to the secrets of ancient ceramics left by humans; From mental health to scientific use of brains, to life excellence due to creation. Scientists from different fields not only impart scientific knowledge, stimulate young people's interest in science, convey the spirit of science, and provide a useful supplement to the school-based teaching system.
The fifth season of the curriculum continues the spirit of "spreading scientific ideas and cultivating scientific interests", aiming to stimulate children's curiosity. In terms of module design, we strive to achieve "high-end, leading, distinctive, and systematic", and in terms of audience positioning, "mainly junior high school students, radiating up and down". In addition, the content setting fully combines the concerns of teachers, students and parents in the early stage of research to achieve "starting from the demand side". And based on the frontier of science and technology, close to social hotspots.
At the same time, in order to strengthen the interaction with the audience, the fifth season of the course will continue the characteristics of the first two seasons, and set up a live Q&A class after the end of the course on each topic. When the first few courses are broadcast, the audience messages or questions on each platform will be selected and sorted out in the background, and some of the questions will have the opportunity to be discussed in the Q&A live class to achieve effective feedback.
