On January 23, 2023, the China New Employment Form Research Center released the "2023 China Blue-Collar Group Employment Research Report", which shows that the average monthly salary of blue-collar groups in 2023 will be 6,043 yuan, which is basically the same as last year.

With the vigorous development of e-commerce and the continuous growth of residents' consumer demand, the scale of the express delivery market has expanded rapidly, and the business volume has been rising. According to statistics, China's express delivery business volume has reached 132 billion pieces in 2023, and the total number of couriers in China exceeds 4 million.

Couriers are rain or shine in everyone's eyes, and they are hard, but many people don't know about the salary of couriers. The salary of couriers is affected by different factors, such as different regions, different work experience, different work performance, etc., which will lead to large differences in the salary level of couriers.

So how exactly is a courier's salary structured?

The salary of the courier is mainly composed of three parts: delivery income, pickup income and fines, and then we use the formula of "income = delivery income + pickup income - fine" to calculate the salary of different types of couriers who are mainly dispatched and collected.

Take a courier in Beijing who mainly sends as an example。350 votes are distributed every day and 20 votes are collected. In terms of delivery income: the distribution fee is 14 yuan ticket, daily delivery income of 350 14 = 490 yuan, put the express cabinet and post station accounted for 40%, that is, 140 votes, each ticket according to 08 yuan calculation, the delivery expenditure is 140 08 = 112 yuan, and the daily net income of delivery is 490-112 = 378 yuan. Receipt: 5 yuan per ticket outlet, 8 yuan for couriers, 3 yuan per ticket, and 3 yuan per day for receiving 20 votes = 60 yuan. In this way, the total daily income of the courier is 378 + 60 = 438 yuan. A month without a break, 30 days of work, a total income of 438 30 = 13,140 yuan. In addition, the fine is about 1,300 yuan per month, so the final salary of the courier is 11,840 yuan.

Couriers in first-tier cities have relatively high delivery fees and high incomes. But couriers in third- and fourth-tier cities will earn much less. Let's take Nanyang as an example to calculate the approximate income of couriers.

A courier in Nanyang who is mainly pie,300 votes are distributed every day, and 25 votes are collected. Delivery: 07 yuan, 300 07 = 210 yuan, put the post station 035 yuan per ticket, there are about 200 votes per day, and the delivery expenditure is 200 035 = 70 yuan, and the daily net income of delivery is 210-70 = 140 yuan. Receipt: The outlet receives 7 yuan from the courier, and the courier receives 10 yuan from the customer, earning 3 yuan for one ticket, and 3 25 votes = 75 yuan. The daily net income is 140 + 75 = 215 yuan. Working 28 days a month, a total income of 6,020 yuan, deducting 500 yuan from fines, and 5,520 yuan per month.

Although most couriers are mainly dispatched, there are also some couriers who pay more attention to receiving parcels and mainly receive.

Take a courier in Chongqing who mainly collects as an example50 votes are distributed every day and 80 votes are collected. Delivery: 08 yuan, 50 08 = 40 yuan, put the post station at 80%, about 40 votes, put the post station 03 yuan per ticket, and the dispatch expenditure is 40 03 = 12 yuan, the daily net income of delivery is 40-12 = 28 yuan. In terms of receipt: the outlets receive 5 yuan from the courier, the courier receives 9 yuan from the customer, earns 4 yuan for one ticket, and the daily income of the receipt is 80 4 = 320 yuan. The total daily income is 320 + 28 = 348 yuan. Working 28 days a month, the total income is 28 348 = 9744 yuan. If the monthly fine is around 400 yuan, the final monthly income is 9,344 yuan.

This kind of salary income is also a good level in Chongqing. The salary level of couriers who mainly collect is generally higher, and it is much easier to make money by receiving mail than by sending them.

Of course, there are also some couriers who have changed careers to become post stations. The transformation from the "business" model to the "business" model has made the courier a small boss. Compared with being a courier, although the working hours have been extended, the degree of hardship will be greatly reduced, and the delivery will not be exposed to the wind and sun, and the opportunity to receive loose items is also greater, and the income is more considerable as a whole.

Take a post station in Guangzhou as an example, 700 votes are put into storage every day, and 35 votes are received. The courier company gives the station an average of 0$7, $0 per day7 700 = 490 yuan. In terms of receipt, the post station receives 10 yuan from customers, and the express company receives 6 yuan from the post station, with a net income of 4 yuan per ticket, and 4 35 votes per day = 140 yuan. In this way, the total daily income is 490 + 140 = 630 yuan. Monthly income 630 30 = 18,900 yuan. However, the operation of the post station involves the cost of rent, water, electricity and employees, the rent is 2,000 yuan per month, and an employee needs 4,000 yuan per month, 100 yuan per month for water and electricity, and the remaining 12,800 yuan in the end.

Due to the different levels of economic development and consumption in different regions, there is a large gap in the wages of couriers. Generally speaking, couriers in first-tier cities have higher salaries, while couriers in third- and fourth-tier cities have relatively low salaries. Although there will be many couriers with a monthly income of more than 10,000 yuan in first-tier cities, as far as the entire courier group is concerned, there are more people with a monthly income of four or five thousand, five or six thousand.

What is the average monthly income of those couriers who shuttle through the streets and alleys, rain or shine, and deliver express mail to consumers on time?
