On the afternoon of January 25, the third meeting of the Presidium of the Second Session of the 14th Provincial People's Congress was held.
The meeting was presided over by Hu Changsheng, executive chairman of the presidium.
The meeting voted and approved the report on the implementation of the 2023 national economic and social development plan of Gansu Province and the review results of the draft national economic and social development plan in 2024, the report on the implementation of the provincial budget in 2023 and the review results of the draft provincial and provincial budgets in 2024, and the report on the handling of bills put forward by deputies. They listened to the delegations' deliberations and discussions on the draft list of candidates for the election nominated by the presidium, deliberated on the draft list of chairmen of the relevant special committees of the 14 th Provincial People's Congress, and deliberated on the report on the joint nomination of candidates for election by the deputies. The draft list of official candidates for the Standing Committee of the 14th Provincial People's Congress was voted and approved, and after the meeting, it was printed and distributed to all the deputies for deliberation and discussion, and then submitted to the plenary session of the General Assembly for election. It was decided to submit the draft list of chairmen of the relevant special committees of the 14 th Provincial People's Congress to the plenary session of the General Assembly for voting.
The meeting also voted to approve the draft list of scrutineers.
