Intellectual property investment has the following characteristics:

.The intangibility of intellectual property: Unlike traditional tangible assets, intellectual property is an intangible asset, and its value is mainly reflected in the technology, brand, copyright and other aspects it represents.

.Valuation of intellectual property: In the process of intellectual property investment, the value of intellectual property needs to be evaluated to determine its share of the company's capital. Valuation methods include cost method, market method and income method.

.Protection of intellectual property rights: Intellectual property investment requires enterprises to have sound intellectual property protection measures to ensure that the legitimate rights and interests of intellectual property rights are not infringed.

.Transformation and application of intellectual property: Enterprises need to transform intellectual property into actual productivity and realize the value of intellectual property. This requires enterprises to have strong R&D, production and management capabilities.

.Dynamic management of intellectual property: The value of intellectual property will change with changes in the market environment, technological progress and other factors. Therefore, enterprises need to establish a dynamic intellectual property management system and adjust the use, protection and transformation strategies of intellectual property in a timely manner.
