Zero Carbon & Bipv
With the increasing importance of climate change and sustainable development, countries around the world have advocated carbon neutrality policies, and the architectural design industry has become a key area to reduce carbon emissions. Green buildings and zero-carbon buildings have become the focus of owners, developers, and building designers to build a low-carbon, sustainable future.
The realization of green buildings and zero-carbon buildings requires innovative technological solutions, and:BIPV building photovoltaic integration and photovoltaic building solutions are one of the key technologies, which provide important means to achieve the dual carbon goal and reduce carbon emissions

Jiasheng Optoelectronics. The photovoltaic coverage rate is up to 50%.
In order to better achieve the dual carbon goal, the determination of the national policy level to promote the application of building photovoltaic is also obvious. In June 2022, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development jointly issued a notice on the "Implementation Plan for Carbon Peaking in the Field of Urban and Rural Construction".By 2025, the rooftop photovoltaic coverage rate of new public buildings and new factories will strive to reach 50%.。Taking the "Several Opinions on Promoting the High-quality Development of Photovoltaic in New Residential Buildings" issued by the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission as an example, it is required to be in:Between 2023 and 2025, more than 100,000 kilowatts of new residential PV will be built。This policy background provides a huge development opportunity for the photovoltaic building industry.

BIPV building photovoltaic integration and photovoltaic building theme exhibition area
With the goal of promoting high-quality and sustainable buildings, CADE is committed to promoting the dissemination and practice of sustainable development and green building concepts, and will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from October 16 to 19, 2024.
Relying on the "Zero Carbon Plan", with the architectural design unit as the center, the "BIPV Building Photovoltaic Integration and Photovoltaic Building Theme Exhibition Area" will be established with the construction industry chain institutions to build a whole industrial chain for the low-carbon transformation of building energy. Through a wealth of application project cases, it shows how photovoltaic building solutions can generate electricity for buildings, empower design, improve building energy efficiency, and reduce building carbon emissions, so as to provide more value benefits for owners.
CADE2023 BIPV Building Photovoltaic Integration and Photovoltaic Building Theme Exhibition Area.
In the "BIPV Building Photovoltaic Integration and Photovoltaic Building Theme Zone", various technical products covering photovoltaic storage and direct flexible systems will be displayed, including:BIPV power generation building materials, photoelectric glass, energy storage equipment, intelligent electrical and other innovative products。Demonstrate a variety of options and innovative solutions for owners, architects, and engineers to achieve their green building goals.
In addition, the exhibition area will be:Focusing on exemplary low-carbon photovoltaic power generation projects, it shows how photovoltaic building solutions can achieve carbon reduction through planning, design, construction and installation, and post-operation and maintenance in the whole life cycle of practical cases. In the most intuitive way, show the charm of photovoltaic building solutions to owners, architects, and engineers.
BIPV application case
Project Name: Site of the World Laureates Forum.
Designer: Huajian Group Shanghai Architectural Design and Research Institute***
Project Design & Completion Year: 2019-2022
Floor area: 2240 thousand
Chief Architects: Su Chang, Tan Chunhui, Zuo Lei.
The building uses a large number of BIPV, the roof feathers, rows of photovoltaic panels to bring renewable energy to the hotel, the design combines the sunlight angle and the needs of the architectural modeling, taking into account the air circulation of the roof equipment, the shape is unique. The glass roof of the hotel lobby on the large slope of the podium on the south side of the building adopts a photovoltaic integrated design, and the indoor transparency and shading requirements reach the best balance point, creating a comfortable indoor space.
Project Name: China Pavilion at the 2019 Beijing World Horticultural Exposition, China.
Designer: China Architectural Design and Research Institute***
Design time: 20169-2017.5
Construction time: 20178-2019.3
Floor area: 23,000
Main Architects: Cui Kai, Jing Quan, Li Liang.
In terms of energy utilization, a solar photovoltaic power generation system was installed on the roof curtain wall of the venue, and 1,024 pieces of translucent golden cadmium telluride photovoltaic power generation glass were installed, adopting the mode of "self-generation and self-use, surplus Internet access" to provide power support for the operation of lighting and scenery in the museum.
The use of cadmium telluride light-transmitting thin film modules as building components, on the one hand, has the functions of maintenance, heat insulation and aesthetics of ordinary light-transmitting roofs and curtain walls, and also has the function of power generation, realizing the green building concept from passive energy saving to active power generation; On the other hand, it is not only cleverly combined with building roof and curtain wall components, but can be made into different sizes, different light transmittances and different colors according to requirements, which can perfectly replace traditional curtain wall glass and truly realize photovoltaic glass instead of architectural glass.
Zero-carbon technology exchanges
In order to further promote the exchange and development of the industry, a number of forums and salons with the theme of green building and zero-carbon building will be held at the expo site. The fair will provide an open platformGather top architects, green building experts and scholars, engineering units, owner-developers and low-carbon technology solutions to jointly develop the latest trends, technological innovations and sustainable development strategies of green buildings and zero-carbon buildings。Participants will share their practical experience and successful cases in green buildings and zero-carbon buildings, promote the innovation and promotion of technologies through exchanges and cooperation, and promote the development and popularization of green buildings and zero-carbon buildings.
