Poetic Theory
Poetry is the earliest of the three major themes of literature, but perhaps the earliest to disappear, at least in contemporary China.
Once upon a time, we were still prides ourselves on being a country of poetry, complacent, but now poetry is becoming more and more niche, who cares about it except for "poets"?
The reason why I put "poets" in quotation marks is because they do not write poems, but they are in the name of poems. According to the poetry critic Zhu Ziqing, "Artistic creation exists and develops for the appreciation of connoisseurs, and there is no creation without appreciation." A free-market society that seeks profit will not cultivate connoisseurs for the cultivation of art, but will only turn people into profit-seekers. And the ** of a democratic country, it is impossible to use taxpayers' money to support a group of 'superfluous people', like Wang Meng said that Jia Baoyu is extremely talented and has nothing to do, so he has become a super fan of art.
Yes, if there were no considerable number of connoisseurs, the population of poets would be similar to animal populations, the smaller the population, the lower the rate of excellence, and the small population would be difficult to produce great geniuses, and would only slowly go to extinction.
Originally, since the "Book of Songs", four words, five words, seven words, five words, seven words, five laws, seven songs, songs Yuanqu has a rhythm and there are more and more linings, and it is natural to break through the rhythm and give birth to new poems.
Poetry and words, singing words. It is a pity that contemporary poets deliberately ignore this point: Tang and Song poems can be sung, but the new poems with the characteristic of songs are no longer followed, and they just fall on popular songs. As the saying goes: Wang Feng made me unable to integrate into the city, Pu Shu let me stay in the mountains, and Xu Wei made me unable to return to my hometown. These singers may be the great poets of our time, but we scoff at them.
Nowadays, our literacy rate has been greatly improved, but how many people really understand rhyme? What else can contemporary pseudo-poets do besides coding words, typing keys to break lines, and occasionally sending a few soul phrases? But maybe some people will be unconvinced, aren't there still those creators of ancient poetry? How do you say that there are no poets in China?
Yes, those who are also pseudo-poets, and even worse than those who write free-form, at least they are constantly innovating, but they are plagiarizing and confusing them. They have stolen classical imagery, and there is a serious disconnect between the mood of chanting and real life, and the content of expression and language vocabulary are in a state of antiquity. "Articles are written for the time, and songs and poems are written for the sake of things. "And they are escaping in seclusion, complacent, hanging a casual and pleasant, vassal and elegant mask swaggering network, how many do you see who really touch the heavy pulse of real life? Some are full of the disease-free moaning of "saying sorrow for the new words", some are the children's love of flowers and plants, warblers and swallows, some are full of the unknown melancholy of wandering in the smoke and clouds and twilight, and some are the dream paradise of the thatched hut and orchid pavilion of mountains and rivers. Do modern words like cars, ships, ships, mobile phones, computers, refrigerators, washing machines, etc., ever appear in their poems? Holding a rhythm table all day long and groaning there to burn your brain, creating some civilized garbage, is there a fart? That is, it is not possible to integrate modern life into poetry well, and the artistic conception and emotions expressed are not consistent with their own reality.
In fact, since the May Fourth Movement, poets at that time still consciously inherited the tradition, and wrote poems that were at least rhyming, harmonious, and neat, especially the poets of the Crescent School. If you look at the present, it's all clouds and fog, which makes people scratch their heads, not to mention readers, even poets can't understand it, what is it? Tang poems have been handed down for more than 1,000 years, although the ancient and modern grammar and French contexts are different, but almost every poem can be sung and chanted, and can also be drawn (just like Kang Zhen teacher painted and guessed poems on the spot at the poetry conference) If the poem really needs to be explained, it is not real poetry.
Nowadays, poetry is running wild on the road of Westernization (liberalization), from hazy poetry in the 80s to spoken poetry, and then from saliva poetry to feces and urine poetry, poetry is not back to its original position, but back to its original taste, poetry has really become "", there are no poets in China, let alone poetry.
The strainee is gone, leaving toilet paper all over the floor. Hehe!
