Just as Putin and the Egyptian leaders can only know objective truth through difficult practice, why do we, as Marxists, need to be so subjective about the objective world? For some people, vigorously developing the private economy does not seem to conform to Marxist theory, so they try to tamper with Marxist theory to cater to their own interests. Only by adhering to the attitude of seeking truth from facts in an objective manner can we have a better understanding of the world, guide practice, and truly realize the great ideal of socialism.
