On January 6, 2024, Wu Pinfang, Chairman of GUOFUHEE, led a European team to the Netherlands and had a friendly meeting with H2 Ecosystems, a local distributed energy solution provider. The two companies signed a joint venture agreement to establish a joint venture in the Benelux region to provide customers with distributed energy solutions for hydrogen energy. The partners are committed to selling no less than 20 million euros of products in the next three years and to complete the construction and operation of at least one demonstration project by 2025.
As a leader in the development of the hydrogen energy industry in Europe, the Netherlands is at the forefront of the hydrogen energy transition, especially in hydrogen import and pipeline network construction. The partner, H2 Ecosystems, is focused on providing integrated solutions using hydrogen as an energy storage medium for the industrial and commercial sectors, which can complement electrochemical energy storage and provide cost-effective long-term energy storage. Compared to electrochemical energy storage, hydrogen is easier to transport and trade. With the widespread adoption of hydrogen networks, commercial and industrial customers will be able to access hydrogen more easily and cost-effectively.
On this basis, GUOFUHEE can provide hydrogen production, hydrogen storage and fuel cell-based cogeneration systems in the Netherlands, which well solves the problem of difficult grid connection of new energy power generation for customers, as well as the problem of expensive electricity and heating in winter. This will be a solution that is recognized and welcomed by local customers.
