Israel submitted evidence to the United Nations alleging that a total of 12 staff members of the United Nations Palestine Refugees Agency in the Near East and UNRWA participated in the cross-border attack on Israel on 7 October last year. So far, nine countries have stated that they will suspend the allocation of aid to Gaza.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres was "deeply alarmed" by the allegations, saying that an in-depth investigation was already underway and nine of the employees had been fired.

Director of the Relief Service in the Near East, Philip. Lazzarini said: After Israel provided relevant information, UNRWA has terminated the relevant contracts of those involved and launched relevant investigations, and anyone involved in "terrorist activities" will be held accountable and criminally prosecuted. But Philip said that UNRWA is the lifeline of 2 million people, and that funding cannot be stopped because a few individuals are involved in terrorist attacks**, and that Palestinians should not be subjected to such collective punishment.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres called for an end to the inhumanity of the allocation of funds to Gaza, and hoped that countries would not cut off the funds related to the food and clothing of more than 2 million Gazans. What do you think about these issues?
