Today, I finished recording the last lesson of the first volume of "Guwen Guan Zhi", and I am quite satisfied, because when I recorded it, I talked a lot of "nonsense", which is the expanded content. Sometimes, as I talk, I get excited.
Previously, many friends always asked me if I had ** classes, and I always said no.
For one, I'm quite stunned because I don't speak so neatly;
Second, I feel very tired, I can't always be ruthless, lying flat is really the most attractive;
Thirdly, if I don't talk to students and don't communicate, I always feel that the effect is not good.
After recording these 18 articles this time, I have a rough idea of it. Nothing other than being tired. As long as you explain every word, every sentence, and every incomprehensible sentence structure and figure of speech, that's fine.
Because, my ** audience is those who want to take the high school entrance examination or college entrance examination, as much as possible in the 35-point classical Chinese section, or as little as possible. As long as this is achieved, it doesn't really matter whether I speak badly or whether I have a face-to-face conversation.
Therefore, everything must be done, and after doing it, you will know whether it is difficult or not. After doing something, your ability has also improved.
The more important thing than "to do" is to "do it immediately" without delaying for a minute. Many people, including myself, have been victimized by procrastination, delaying themselves and their children.
After recording the first volume, I would like to record another article on the specific methods of studying the "Ancient Texts and Views".
Regarding learning methods, I have written a lot of articles over the years, bits and pieces, so I will summarize them today.
This time, I'm writing in the form of a question and answer, and I'm going to be as concise as possible.
1. Question: Is it enough to let children memorize the original text when learning "Ancient Texts and Views"?
Answer: 1. It is definitely not enough to just memorize the original text. Of course, if the child is willing to memorize, it is better than not at all. However, if the child does not understand the meaning of the original text, is it possible that the child will understand the meaning of the original text if he memorizes itLet's be parents to memorize a paragraph of Arabic, no one will tell you what it means, you are familiar with it, you will understand this paragraph of Arabic?
2. Some people say, didn't the ancients say, "Read a book a hundred times, and its meaning will be seen by itself"?In order to refute this statement, I once wrote an article dedicated to it. To the effect that this sentence comes from Dong Yu of the Three Kingdoms, when he was a teacher, some students were unwilling to read, saying that they had no time to read, so Dong Fuzi said that there was a "winter year", "night and day", "rainy and sunny" "three more" calligraphy. These prodigal children always say that they don't have time to study, but they always ask what to do. Under such circumstances, Dong Fuzi said the words "Read the book a hundred times, and its meaning will be seen by itself". If you really believe him, then what else do you need a teacher to do?
What's more, today's children, the school has teachers to teach, we parents are not going to take their children to extracurricular classes, is it like "Guwen Guanzhi" such a difficult classical Chinese, no one speaks, children read a few more times to understand?If your child is so good, then mathematics, physics and chemistry will definitely be able to learn these subjects by themselves, right??Children who can learn by themselves, after all, are rare, and I'm afraid that bear children can't be taught by others.
As another example, the advice to the children of the new high school affiliated to the National People's Congress is:On the basis of straightening out the meaning of the text, familiarize yourself with the ancient texts. Meaning, you don't understand what you're talking about, so what's the use of reading it?
2. Question: There is no need to be so rigid in words when learning classical Chinese, just be able to understand the general idea. The reason is that Tao Yuanming didn't say, "It's good to read, don't seek to understand, whenever you have a mind, you happily forget to eat." Therefore, many people, like the crowd, feel that reading classical Chinese should "not seek to understand".
Answer: 1. What I don't understand is why you can learn classical Chinese without "seeking to understand", but I have not heard that learning English can be "without seeking understanding", of course, I have not heard that learning mathematics, physics and chemistry can "not seek to understand". Why is that?Could it be that classical Chinese is a maverick thing?
2. Anyone who has read through "Tao Yuanming's Collected Works" will not think that Tao Yuanming's articles have a lot of words that do not seek to understand. I happen to be one of the people who have read through the "Tao Yuanming Anthology", in my opinion, Tao's articles, each one is very exquisite, and the choice of words and sentences can never be described as "not seeking a solution", but giving me a feeling of "seeking a solution". Will this be a martial arts master, like Dugu seeking defeat, he said that he never practiced swords, he was always thinking about swordsmanship, and he didn't seek to understand the moves of martial arts or anything, because, in his heart, there are no tricks to win. We are a stupid beginner, there is no foundation in martial arts, so we learn to be alone and seek defeat, do you think we learn like this, and the martial arts function has grown?
3. Besides, those who give the example of "not seeking to understand", can you tell me that when the high school entrance examination and the college entrance examination are taken, can we write an ambiguous answer on the paper, when my understanding is vague?Can such an answer be scored?If so, then I agree with what you said, "don't ask for a solution";If you can't, isn't that harmful?Don't say you don't want to understand, even if your level is high enough, you already "know what it means", as long as you can't put it into words, you still can't score. Can you run over and tell the grading teacher and tell him that you know the meaning of this sentence in your heart, but you don't know what kind of words to use to express it, and see if the grading teacher can make up the deducted points for you?
Therefore, those parents who use the phrase "don't seek to understand" to comfort themselves are of course okay with harming themselves, because you have the right to call the shots in your own affairs. But your child does not belong to you, he is an independent individual, don't hurt him with your own wrong ideas.
3. Is it necessary to understand every sentence and every word?Isn't it a bit too much?

Volume. Fourth, volume 5 is the Warring States Policy and Historical Records, because the Qing Dynasty people who are not Qin and Han do not read the articles, and at the same time, Sima Qian's articles are something that every Chinese cannot avoid.
Volume. 7. Volume 8 is Han Yu's article, because Han Yu was the head of the eight masters of the Tang and Song dynasties, it was he who initiated the ancient literature movement, and he was the biggest contributor to personal Chinese idioms.

So, in the face of the unfamiliar words of the middle and high school entrance examinations, most of these transferable knowledge will be able to cover those test points, which will not solve the 35 points in the classical Chinese part?
What's more, if a child has these 112 articles as a foundation, and when he grows up in the future, when he faces confusion in work and life, and wants to absorb wisdom and nutrients from traditional classics, he will not be unable to abandon the crutch of commentary and translation, but can directly read the original text. If so, how fortunate it is.
4. Q: When we were studying, the teacher said that imaginary words can be ignored, but you told me that we must understand every imaginary word, which is a dead word, right?Is it necessary?
Answer: 1. The purpose of deducting false words today is to be free when reading other classics in the future.
2. The teacher said that imaginary words can be ignored, and you think they can be ignored, right?Assuming that the imaginary word can really be ignored, then the ancients were full of food and had nothing to do, so they had to add this imaginary word to the article?The ancients wanted to write articles, it was very difficult, there was no paper, they could only be written on bamboo slips, and the places that could be saved were omitted as much as possible, but they refused to omit the imaginary words that should be used, do you think the ancients were stupid?They often don't have enough to eat, and try not to move when they can, so as not to consume their physical energy. But you told me that in the writings of the ancients, those empty words were superfluous. If you are convinced that this is the case, then you are either arrogant or foolish.
3. Is it possible that the current teachers themselves are not very clear about the use of virtual words?Is it possible because the syllabus says that the teacher should teach this way?Have you ever thought about it, why do you have to do a five-five stream in the high school entrance examination?Because there's always going to be industrial workers, there's always going to be someone delivering takeaways, there's always going to be somebody sweeping the streets, right?It doesn't care to the state who is shunted to vocational high school, who is admitted to high school and will go to university, because these people are its people. However, for our parents, if possible, are you willing to let your baby be shunted to vocational high school?I'm not saying that these careers are bad, we're talking about learning here, and if you don't plan to participate in the college promotion game at all, then you don't need to read this article at all, right?
4. We deduct all the imaginary words in the ancient texts because when we finally understand these imaginary words, this ability can be transferred to classical Chinese in the classroom, and it can also be transferred to any classical Chinese that we have not seen. That's why we have to die today, and we're not dead for the sake of it.
5. Q: How do we start learning?
Answer: 1. My original practice was: first let the children hold the phonetic version of the ancient text and read through the original text first. Because there is a phonetic, there is no problem of delaying time by looking up the dictionary if you can't read it. After reading, let the child first go through the gist of the article sentence by sentence to see if the child **understands, **does not understand. Then, because the second volume of the ancient text is a selection of left-handed texts, if the original text has a corresponding part of the "Chronicles of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty", I will let the child read the text deduced by Feng Menglong first, this part of the text is relatively simple, which can quickly help the child understand the general outline of the story. Then, I take the child to stop every word, making sure that every word is properly explained.

6. Q: Is language worth the effort?

Children who are partial to science generally do not like to try to improve their language ability, because the reflex arc of language is longer, and basically the effect cannot be seen in a short period of time, unless you work hard for a long time, you will suddenly get a few more points at a certain time. But just a few points can put your child ahead of competitors in several playgrounds.
4. When the student age passes, the importance of Chinese in life and work will gradually increase. You must know that in the more than 3,000 years of written history of China, it is only in the last two hundred years that mathematics, physics and chemistry have gradually become important
5. The previous globalization is dead, and the future world will be divided into two systems. One is the Chinese system and the other is the American system. There is a group of countries that mainly mix in the Chinese system, and there is a group of countries that only mix in the American system, and most of the countries have installed two systems at the same time in their thinking, using both the Chinese system and the American system to do business.
