Beijing News (Reporter Wang Siyang) On February 2, Lihua Co., Ltd. released a record of investor relations activities, saying that it is expected that yellow feather chickens will maintain the annual growth target of 8%-10%, and it is expected that 1 million - 1.2 million pigs will be slaughtered in 2024.
Lihua Co., Ltd. said that in 2023, the production performance of the company's yellow feather chicken segment will remain at a historically high level, and the business of the new subsidiary will progress smoothly, with a total of 45.7 billion, a year-on-year increase of 1216%, the chicken sector achieved a small profit. The company sells 85 pigs510,000 heads, a year-on-year increase of 5151%, due to the continued low operation of the pig **, the pig sector lost about 4800 million yuan. The goose breeding business made a profit due to the good meat goose market, with a total of 172 meat geese sold210,000 pieces.
In 2023, the company will complete the preliminary strategic layout of fresh chicken processing capacity, and processing projects in Huizhou, Guangdong, Yangzhou, Jiangsu, Tai'an, Shandong and other places will be completed and put into operation one after another, further establishing the fresh product capacity of the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration. However, the above-mentioned processing projects are still in the stage of capacity ramp-up, and have not yet formed a scale effect, and the business has incurred losses.
For the 2024 target, Lihua pointed out that the company has laid out integrated chicken subsidiaries in South China, Southwest China and Central China in recent years, and with the growth of new development subsidiaries, it is expected that Yellow Feather Chicken will maintain an annual growth target of 8%-10%. In terms of yellow feather chicken slaughtering, on the basis of the original production capacity of Jiangsu Lihua Food, with the gradual ramp-up of the production capacity of the processing project, the slaughter volume is expected to reach 60 million in 2024. In terms of the pig sector, the company currently has 60,000 basic sows, and it is expected that 1 million to 1.2 million pigs will be slaughtered in 2024, with a complete cost target of 16 yuan kg.
