It is an electric speed, a tricycle, a multi-purpose hybrid are you interested? Hero Motocorp, one of India's largest motorcycle manufacturers, recently unveiled the Surge S32, a modular electric vehicle that can be used as both an electric speeder for personal mobility and a tricycle for cargo and passengers.
The S32 is a 2-in-1 vehicle consisting of a separate electric speeder and a tricycle without a front wheel. The surge claims that it takes only three minutes to switch from Shokoda to a trike. Just insert the speedy into the front of the tricycle, and the front wheels of the speeder will take care of the steering of the tricycle. In the form of a tricycle, the rear wheels of the speeder will no longer work and will be placed on the platform of the tricycle.
Whether it is a speeder or a tricycle, the motor and battery are separated, and the speeder connects the tricycle through an electronic connector, and the driver controls the tricycle through the grip of the speeder.
In terms of performance, the S32 speeder has a power of up to 6 kilowatts, or about 8 horsepower, and the heavy-duty tricycle has an output of 10 kilowatts, which is almost 135 hp.
In terms of batteries, the Surge relies on existing technology from Hero Motocorp's EV subsidiary, Vida. It is also planned to launch different versions of the tricycle to meet different needs. The development includes an open tricycle that resembles a pickup truck and an enclosed tricycle that carries people.
