The structure and working principle of the filter cartridge dust collector

Cartridge dust collector is a kind of high-efficiency and energy-saving dust removal equipment, which is widely used in the field of industrial dust control. Its structure and working principle are as follows:

The structure of the filter cartridge dust collector mainly includes air inlet, filter cartridge, ash cleaning system, ash discharge port and shell. The air inlet is responsible for collecting dusty gases, and the filter cartridge is the core component of the dust collector, which is usually made of polyester fiber, polyamide fiber and other materials, and forms a filter material by folding, pressing, etc., to filter and intercept dust. The ash cleaning system removes the dust attached to the filter cartridge by means of reverse air blowing and pulse injection. The ash vent is responsible for discharging the clean gas after dust removal, while the housing supports and protects the filter cartridge.

The working principle of the cartridge dust collector is mainly based on the filtration principle. When the dust-laden gas enters the filter cartridge dust collector, the dust particles are intercepted by the filter media and gradually form a dust layer. With the thickening of the dust layer, the resistance gradually increases, and when the resistance reaches a certain level, it needs to be cleaned. When cleaning the ash, the air flow of the reverse blowing or pulse spraying blows back or sprays the filter cartridge, so that the dust layer falls off from the surface of the filter material, falls into the ash hopper, and then discharges through the ash discharge port. The clean gas is discharged through the filter cartridge into the exhaust vent.

The filter cartridge dust collector has the advantages of high filtration efficiency, moderate resistance, large air volume and convenient maintenance, and is suitable for handling various types of dust, especially for dust with small particles and easy to agglomerate. At the same time, the filter cartridge dust collector can also be specially designed according to the actual needs, such as adding a pretreatment system, a post-treatment system, etc., to meet the needs of different working conditions.
