Precautions for battery installation
1. Because the battery is shipped in a wet charged state, it must be handled carefully during transportation and installation to prevent short circuit.
2. Due to the high voltage of the battery assembly, there is a risk of electric shock, so when loading and unloading the conductive wire, tools with insulation and bandaging should be used; When installing or handling batteries, wear insulated gloves, aprons and protective glasses; During the handling of the battery, it is necessary to prevent collision and impact, and the end pillar and safety exhaust valve shall not be twisted. It is strictly forbidden to place tools, sundries or other conductive items on the battery.
3. Dirty terminals or poor connections may cause battery ignition, so keep the terminal connections clean, and tighten the special connection cable (or copper bar) to make the torque reach the specified value of different connection terminals. During operation, no other stresses must be generated on the terminals that are not necessary for tightening.
4. The connection between batteries, between battery packs, and between battery packs and power supply equipment should be reasonable and convenient, and the voltage drop should be as small as possible. Batteries of different specifications, different batches, and different manufacturers cannot be mixed. Before installing the end connector and connecting the battery system, you should carefully check whether the total voltage and positive and negative polarity connections of the battery system are correct, and whether the connection between the batteries is firm.
5. During the battery installation process, avoid short-circuiting or grounding of the battery. When the battery pack is connected with the charger or load, one of the terminals in the battery pack should be disconnected, and the charger or load circuit switch should be located in the "disconnected" position to prevent short circuit and ensure that the connection is correct, the positive pole of the battery is connected with the positive pole of the charger, and the negative pole is connected with the negative pole.
6. The battery shell cannot be cleaned with organic solvents, and carbon dioxide fire extinguishers cannot be used to extinguish battery fires, and special dry powder fire extinguishing appliances should be equipped.
7. The battery is in a wet charge state, please check the open circuit voltage of the single battery one by one before installation and use, and it should not be less than 2 under normal circumstances08V monomer. If it is lower than this value, it needs to be recharged before use.
