IT House reported on February 21 that Nvidia announced that it will hold the GTC 2024 conference at the San Jose Convention Center from March 18 to 21. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang will unveil the latest breakthroughs in accelerated computing, generative AI, and robotics.
It's worth mentioning that Nvidia has been holding online digital conferences since 2020, so GTC 2024 will represent Nvidia back in San Jose.
As is customary, NVIDIA will unveil its next-generation graphics technology at GTC and will bring a new generation of data center products.
Considering the latest revelations, all eyes should be on the highly anticipated Blackwell series of products at GTC this time, which will also expand into the gaming space, although the underlying architecture of gaming chips will be different.
IT House Note: Blackwell is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, David Blackwell, the first black member of the National Academy of Sciences and the first black tenured professor at the University of California, Berkeley, who died of illness on July 8, 2010, at the age of 91.
According to reports, more than 900 sessions will be held at the conference, and more than 300 exhibitors will demonstrate how enterprises can deploy NVIDIA platforms to achieve major breakthroughs in various industries such as aerospace, agriculture, automotive and transportation, cloud services, financial services, medical and life sciences, manufacturing, retail and telecommunications.
"Industry and organizations are committed to harnessing the transformative power of generative AI, which has become a global spotlight," Huang said. GTC has become the world's most important AI conference, where the entire ecosystem comes together to share knowledge and advance technology.
