China's acrobatics showed its strength again, and France won double gold
The China Acrobatic Troupe and the China Railway Art Troupe shined at the 43rd "French Tomorrow International Circus Festival", and won two gold medals with their original and innovative works "Xuan Duowei Collective Ball Skills" and "Playing the Bell".
The strength of these two programs is absolutely excellent, and they stand out from 21 acrobatic and burlesque programs in 15 countries and regions around the world.
The Chinese Acrobatic Troupe won the gold medal at the 43rd "French Tomorrow International Circus Festival" with the program "Xuan Duowei Collective Ball Skills". This is an innovative work of "ball skills" acrobatics, and its original installation promotes the major innovation of ball skills from the traditional single-dimensional space display to the multi-dimensional space skills.
Innovative techniques such as the actors hitting the ball in 360-degree continuous movement, the upper and lower space blind spots, and even blindly hitting the fluorescent ball in a dark environment feast the audience's eyes.
The Chinese Acrobatic Troupe collaborated with Cirque du Soleil to create the show, directed by Cirque du Soleil director Maire-Eve Demers. The work is rooted in the traditional cultural concept of "the unity of heaven and man" of Chinese Taoism, and uses acrobatic skills to innovate the concept of traditional Chinese culture, which has aroused wide recognition and response from international audiences.
This is the second gold medal won by the Chinese Acrobatic Troupe in 2024 and the 72nd gold medal on its gold medal list.
At the recently concluded 20th China Wuqiao International Acrobatic Art Festival, the Beijing Acrobatic Troupe won the gold medal with two works, becoming the representative of "Beijing Acrobatics" in international activities and a platform for spreading excellent traditional Chinese culture.
Since the establishment of the new presidium of the Beijing Acrobatic Association, it has continuously strengthened its international communication capacity, made full use of the communication opportunities of international competitions, and given full play to the artistic innovation and international exchange advantages of the Beijing Acrobatic Group, which has further promoted the comprehensive development of Beijing acrobatic art.
