Spring Festival is an important festival for Chinese. As the years go by, the Spring Festival is no longer a longing for me, but a formality. Yet my rich memories of it are still unforgettable.
When I was a child, in our hometown of Ningbo, on Chinese New Year's Eve, regardless of whether rich or poor, families would hold heaven and earth worship and ancestor worship activities. Usually save money to eat, "let go" during the New Year, kill chickens and ducks and beat rice cakes, neighbors next door bowl to bowl, invite each other to eat, busy and happy. The hardest thing is the mother, at night, she has to pick up the lights and night to sort out the clothes, hats, shoes and socks that the family wears for the New Year, it is really "only my mother is good in the world".
On the morning of the first day of the Lunar New Year, the sound of firecrackers was removed by one year, and the spring breeze sent warmth into Tusu. I dressed in new clothes and went to the clan to kowtow to the elders, and the elders generously gave sweets and snacks. Since the second year of junior high school, family and friends have been busy visiting each other.
During the Chinese New Year and Spring Festival, my mother gave me 3 tasks:
The first piece is to write and paste "auspicious", that is, to write and paste the words "Fu", "auspicious", "Ruyi", "Qinglong" and "Huanglong" with red paper, and post them in a conspicuous place, and there are words in the mouth "Huanglongpan barn, Qinglongpan water tank", in order to seek a bumper harvest of grains in the coming year.
The second piece is to set up an altar (Chinese New Year's Eve to the fifteenth day of the first month), that is, to hang the portrait of the ancestors, offer pastries and fruit incense candles, and bow to three heads of fragrance in the morning and evening, so as to ask the ancestors to bless the family and peace.
The third piece is to be a guide for the old grandmother. My grandmother was a vegetarian and believed in the Buddha, and she was a kind and kind old man, but unfortunately she was blind in both eyes. Every time she goes out to worship the Buddha, I have to take her crutches as a guide. There are many temples in Ningbo, and most of the big temples are in the mountains. On the eighth day of the first month, my grandmother will go to Lingfeng Temple to enter the incense towards the mountain, the mountain platform is long, the slope is large, the grandmother comes to the Buddha in three steps and a kneeling bow, she slipped and fell to the ground several times and her knees bleed, she did not feel pain, and continued to move forward. I am also very happy to accompany my grandmother to visit the mountains during the Spring Festival.
At that time, the national economy was in a recovery period, the market materials were scarce, and the Spring Festival New Year's ticket plan was not enough to eat, so I had to go to Jinqiao, Luyangqiao and even other places in the suburbs to purchase supplements. One year, I went out of Hangzhou, and exchanged 20 catties of national grain stamps for a live chicken from the farmer in the local area, and the live poultry could not get on the train, and I fed it a tablespoon of liquor before getting on the train, and it fell asleep in a cardboard box, and three hours later Shanghai arrived, and the chicken woke up and clucked there.
In those years, I cooked during the Spring Festival, and my specialty dishes were assorted grilled bran, money cakes, steamed yellow fish, the battle of red cliffs, and ants on the tree, ......They all say that the new taste is delicious, and I am happy and happy. During the period, the ringing of the New Year's greeting bell continued, replacing the need to carry large bags and small bags to visit relatives and friends.
Now, the New Year's flavor is very different, people are no longer pursuing eating and drinking, but pay attention to healthy and nutritious food, visiting relatives and friends is also less, replaced by computer networks, affection is all in WeChat.
