Zong Qinghou (December 1945-February 25, 2024), male, from Hangzhou, Zhejiang. In 1991, Zong Qinghou established Wahaha Food Group Company. In 2010, Zong Qinghou topped the Hurun Global 100 List for the first time. On October 12, 2012, Forbes released the 2012 Forbes China Rich List, and Zong Qinghou, chairman of Wahaha, re-ascended to the throne of the richest man with a net worth of $10 billion. In 2015, Zong Qinghou ranked 18th on the Forbes list of Chinese billionaires with $10.3 billion.
