The final score of the EcoVadis audit not only gives companies an idea of their social responsibility performance level, but also enables them to compare themselves with their peers. This band applies to both the subject score and the overall score. The EcoVadis grading design is designed to allow SMEs to improve and to continuously improve their social responsibility practices.

85 - 100 points – Excellent – High chances.

A structured and proactive approach to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

All issues have detailed policies and actions, as well as implementation information.

Innovative practices and external recognition.

65 - 84 points - Advanced - Medium chance.

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report involves reporting on key actions and results.

45 - 64 points – Recognition – Controlled.

A structured and proactive approach to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

There are detailed policies and actions for all issues.

All reports on key performance indicators.

25 - 44 points – Partially recognized – Medium risk.

Some involvement or action on selected Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) issues.

Some key performance indicators (KPIs) are reported.

Some products have obtained eco-labels or obtained some certificates.

Score 0 - 24 - None - High risk.

There is no involvement or action regarding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Evidence of certain misconduct (e.g., environmental pollution, corruption).

In 2020, the EcoVadis platform made the following grading adjustments to the scoring criteria:

Bronze: 45-53 points.

Silver: 54-65 points.

Gold: 66-72 points.

Platinum: 73-100 points.
