On June 15, on the occasion of the opening of the 29th Beijing International Book Fair, the multilingual book launch conference of the "** New Era Socialist Thought with Chinese Characteristics Study Series" and the Symposium on Chinese Roads and Chinese Culture sponsored by the China Social Sciences Press were held in Beijing. More than 40 people attended the meeting, including Zhen Zhanmin, vice president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and member of the party group, relevant comrades of the Publishing Bureau of the Central Propaganda Department, experts and scholars of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and representatives of foreign publishing institutions. 
In the 2023 overseas collection rankings, our company is back on the top list
On June 16, the Research Report on the Influence of Overseas Collections of Chinese Books (2023 Edition) was released at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. According to the report, in 2022, there will be a net increase of 451 titles of books in our overseas collection, ranking first among national publishing houses again after a year. This is also the 10th consecutive year that our society has entered the top three of the "Top 100 Influential Publishing Houses for Overseas Collections of Chinese Books", and has achieved 6 first, 3 second, and 1 third place. In the past 12 years, China Social Sciences Press has continued to rank first with 9,512 titles. 
China Social Sciences Press was once again selected as a national key cultural export enterprise (2023-2024).
According to the Announcement No. 3 of 2012 of the Ministry of Commerce and other 10 departments "Catalogue for the Guidance of the Export of Cultural Products and Services" and the "Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Commerce, the General Office of the Propaganda Department, the General Office of the Ministry of Finance, the General Office of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the General Office of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television on Organizing the Application of Key Enterprises and Key Projects of National Cultural Exports in 2023-2024" (Shang Ban Service Trade Letter No. 2023 No. 293), after the preliminary examination of the relevant competent departments of the province (autonomous region, municipality directly under the Central Government, and cities specifically designated in the state plan), and the review of third-party professional institutions, Through the procedures of expert review and review by relevant departments, 367 enterprises including China International Television Corporation were preliminarily identified as key national cultural export enterprises in 2023-2024, and 115 projects such as China Television Great Wall Platform were designated as key national cultural export projects in 2023-2024. The Chinese version of "Hiroo Fukuda's Commentary: Seeking Prosperity and Stability in Postwar Japan" was released in Beijing
On October 24, the Chinese version of "Takeo Fukuda's Commentary: Seeking Prosperity and Stability in Postwar Japan" and the symposium on "Takeo Fukuda and Postwar Japan" were held in Beijing. Former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda and Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Wang Changlin attended the opening ceremony and unveiled the Chinese version of "Takeo Fukuda's Commentary".
131 books of China Social Sciences Press were selected as the 2023 National Social Science ** Late Funding Project
In 2023, the list of national social science ** late-stage funded projects (key projects and general projects) will be announced. China PressHui Science Publishing House Reader's Bookstore and Tea House opened
On December 18th, the Reader's Bookstore Teahouse of China Social Sciences Press was officially opened.
