1. Know the terminals.

Terminal blocks are a common electronic component that is mainly used for connections between circuit boards. Its main function is to connect the wires on two circuit boards together to realize the transmission of electrical signals. There are many types of terminal blocks, which can be divided into single-row terminals, double-row terminals and multi-row terminals according to their uses.

Second, the correct wiring method of the terminal block.

1.Prepare tools and materials.

Before you start wiring, you need to prepare some necessary tools and materials, such as screwdrivers, soldering irons, solder wires, insulating tape, etc. In addition, it is necessary to prepare some wires that are compatible with the terminal blocks.

2.Decide how you want to connect.

Before you start wiring, you need to determine how the terminal blocks are connected. Generally speaking, there are two types of connection methods for terminal blocks: crimping and welding. Crimping is to insert the wire into the terminal block, and then crimp the terminal blocks together with crimping pliers; Soldering is the soldering of wires to terminal blocks. Select the appropriate connection method according to the actual situation.

3.Strip the line.

Before crimping or soldering, the insulation of the wire needs to be stripped to a certain length. Be careful not to damage the core when stripping the thread. The length of peeling is determined according to the actual situation, generally about 10-15mm.

4.Crimping or soldering.

Crimping or soldering is carried out depending on the chosen connection. When crimping, insert the stripped wire into the terminal block, and then crimp the terminal blocks together with crimping pliers; When soldering, the stripped wire is soldered on the terminal, and the solder joint is filled with solder wire to ensure that the solder joint is full and smooth.

5.Inspection and testing.

Once the wiring is complete, it needs to be inspected and tested. Check whether the connection of the wire is firm, and whether the solder joint is full and smooth; Test whether the circuit is working properly. If there is any problem, it should be dealt with in time.

3. Precautions.

1.When stripping, it is necessary to ensure that the core of the wire is not damaged; When crimping or welding, it is necessary to ensure that the connection is firm, and the solder joint is full and smooth.

2.When wiring, it should be wired according to the specified color to facilitate identification and maintenance.

3.In the process of wiring, it is necessary to pay attention to safety and avoid safety accidents such as electric shock.
