Recently, the egg carving and miniature gourd works created by the master class students of the National Crafts College of Lanzhou Vocational and Technical University of Resources and Environment were unveiled at the Paris booth of the 42nd session of the UNESCO General Assembly.

In recent years, Lanzhou University of Resources and Environment has continued to develop and build a variety of intangible cultural heritage practice teaching platforms, carry out intangible cultural heritage characteristic courses, such as egg carving, gourd carving, clay sculpture, pottery, dyeing and valerian cloth art, leather art, etc., and introduce arts and crafts masters, intangible cultural heritage inheritors and technical experts from various industries into the campus to carry out intangible cultural heritage knowledge lectures and professional training courses for teachers and students of the school.

At the same time, Lanzhou University of Resources and Environment has also cooperated with the government and enterprises to carry out multi-dimensional cooperation, set up the Gansu Provincial Institute of Ancient Book Restoration Skills Transmission Institute Lanzhou Resources and Environment Vocational and Technical University Teaching Center, the National Ancient Book Restoration Skills Gansu Talent Training Base, and jointly established the Gansu Institute of Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection and Education with the Gansu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism to actively carry out cultural exchange activities for intangible cultural heritage to the world.
