Although some experts put forward the opinion that it may destroy the landscape of Jingshan, because the moat of the Forbidden City is opposite, if there are too many people, it will be crowded, and the location of Jingshan is relatively remote and not very convenient, so we finally chose Xiangshan as the site of the memorial hall.
Because *** once lived here, and commanded the famous battle of crossing the river here, determined the plan for the founding of the country, and published a series of programmatic documents.
Although Xiangshan has beautiful scenery and pleasant environment, it is far away from Beijing and is not very convenient for the masses to pay their respects. Therefore, it was proposed to build a *** memorial hall in front of Tiananmen Square.
However, Tiananmen is limited in space, and once it is built here, it will not only affect the momentum of Tiananmen Square, but also cause traffic congestion. In addition, although the plan north of Tiananmen Square does not have the problem of house demolition and there are ready-made trees to use, the memorial hall will be hidden in the ancient buildings, and the people in the square cannot see it directly.
Therefore, the north of Tiananmen Square scenario also does not seem to be appropriate. Just when the site selection work came to a standstill, it was announced that the crystal coffin containing the remains of *** would be moved into the memorial hall for the masses to pay their respects.
This news has aroused a warm response from people across the country, and everyone is very concerned about when the memorial hall will be completed and when it will be able to pay homage to the remains. Because everyone has a deep affection for ***, and he has just passed away, the people of the whole country are immersed in grief and hope to pay tribute to him again.
Therefore, the desire to pay homage is very urgent. In order to promote the site selection work, Gu Ming conducted several on-site surveys and held a symposium to discuss the site selection and design plan with many experts.
In Yang Kaihui's homeland, everyone is struggling to build a memorial hall. Just when everyone was in deep thought, Gu Ming quoted *** nostalgic for Yang Kaihui's poem: "I am arrogant Yang Jun lost the willow, and the willow went straight to the top of the sky."
