The meeting elected Zhou Yangbin as the president of the County Miao Medicine and Miao Medicine Association, Deng Yuhua, Yang Xiang'e, Lin Feilong, Yang Chunpeng as vice presidents, and Jiang Guanli as the secretary general. President Zhou Yangbin told the author that all along, the Chengbu County Party Committee and the medical and health functional departments have been committed to the inheritance and excavation, sorting and research of local Miao medicine, collecting and sorting out Miao medicine's unilateral prescriptions, test prescriptions and drugs, and developing effective classic prescriptions explored and accumulated in clinical application practice into finished drugs for the benefit of Sangzi. The book of more than 300,000 words "Chengbu Herbal Medicine", the whole book contains nearly 300 kinds of medicinal plants and more than 200 cases, which is used by the Provincial Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine as the blueprint for the compilation of "Chengbu Miao Herbal Medicine", which has laid a solid foundation for the research of Miao medicine in China. Miao medicine has changed from "oral" medicine to "literal" medicine for thousands of years, completing a historical leap and becoming a treasure of traditional medicine in the motherland. It is reported that a number of Miao folk doctors, such as Fang's Orthopedics in Chengbu Lanrong Township, Yang's Shuishi Orthopedics in Tingping Township, Zhou's Herbal Medicine in Dankou Township, and Chen's Snake Medicine in Baimaoping Town, enjoy a high reputation in Hunan and have played a positive role in promoting the development of Miao medicine. Among them, Chengbu's "Miao Wang Scald Medicine", "Chen's Snake Medicine" and Miao Medicine's "Qing Phong Technique" have been included in the municipal intangible cultural heritage protection list. In recent years, Chengbu has conscientiously implemented the spirit of Shaoyang City's construction of the pilot area of the National Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hunan Province and the development of Miao medicine and Miao medicine, promoted the inheritance, innovation and development of Miao medicine and Miao medicine across the board, and made every effort to build "the hometown of Chinese Miao medicine and Miao medicine".
