There is a delicate camel stage in the block of Datang Sleepless City, the main body of the stage is a four-legged erect, neck neighing camel style, the camel body is yellow, a colorful blanket on the camel's back becomes the core performance area, under the bright lights, four musicians stand around the camel stage, the sound of the sheng flute moves, the Chinese sound of the Tang Dynasty gradually rises, a music and dance performer rotates and moves on the stage, and the style of singing and dancing in the Tang Dynasty shines more brightly under the blessing of exotic elements!
This exquisite performance, based on the national treasure Tang Sancai camel-carrying figurines, shows an eight-member traveling orchestra on the Silk Road with a camel lead singer and accompaniment, and tells the story of the cultural tolerance and innovative spirit behind the prosperity of music and dance in the Tang Dynasty. Liu Bing, the performing arts designer of "Music and Dance Chang'an" and chairman of the National Arts Zoomlion, said.
About the "Tang Sancai Camel Carrying Warriors": The camel is 48 high5 cm, figurines 115 cm. On the hunchback, there are seven figures holding various musical instruments, sitting cross-legged with their backs to each other. Some wore round-necked robes, some wore lapel-collar robes, and the colors of the clothes were ochre yellow, dark green, light green, yellow, blue and white. Tang Sancai Zaile camel figurines reproduce the camel band and camel stage on the ancient Silk Road, which is the crystallization of long-term material and cultural exchanges between China and the world, and was included in the "Third Batch of Catalogue of Cultural Relics Prohibited from Leaving the Country" by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage in August 2013.
The performing arts work "Music and Dance Chang'an" in the Datang Sleepless City block has carried out a new era of re-creation of the national first-class cultural relics "Tang Sancai Camel Carrying Musical Figurines" through modern performing arts expression techniques and special effects design of sound and light, and uses a new "night" state and new way to make cultural relics "come alive" and make culture popular.
