TDK Corporation announces the TDK-Lambda QM4 series of AC-DC modular power supplies in a 15% smaller package size than the QM5. The 108mm width accepts up to four single- or dual-output modules and a dual-output standby signal board, providing up to 10 outputs with low noise and full MOPPS isolation. The QM series power supplies are certified for medical and industrial safety in applications such as Class BF medical devices, test and measurement, broadcasting, communications, and renewable energy.
The series outputs 650W at 180-264VAC input and 550W at 90-264VAC wide input range. The output voltage is optional28v to 1056V with optional Standby signal module. Available with one or two standbys (5V, 12V, and 13.)5V, up to 2A), PMBUS communication interface, ON off control mode, and AC goods signal.
The power supply can operate at ambient temperatures from -20 to 70 C, with output power and output current decreasing by 2 for every 1 C increase in ambient temperature above 50 C5%。The overall dimensions are compact 108 x 635x 270mm (W x H x L) and weighs between 1125kg and 1845kg (depending on module configuration). The QM series power supplies are certified to IEC EN UL CSA 60601 1, ANSI AAMIES 60601 1, IEC EN 61010 1 and IEC EN UL CSA 60950 1 safety standards and are CE marked in accordance with the Low Voltage, EMC and RoHS2 directives. With input and output isolation of 4,000VAC (2 x MOPPS), input isolation of 1,500VAC (1 x MOPP), and output isolation of 1,500VAC (1 x MOPP), this series is suitable for use in BF medical devices such as blood pressure monitors, incubators. The QM4 has a maximum leakage current of 300 A to ground and meets EN61000-6-3:2007 and EN60601-1-2:2015 (conducted and radiated Class B) emission standards. The power supplies also meet the EN60601-1-2 and EN61000-6-2 immunity standards.
