He Rulong said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Iceland 53 years ago, bilateral relations have maintained steady development and pragmatic cooperation has been steadily advanced. China is ready to work with Iceland to strengthen exchanges between the two countries at all levels, deepen practical cooperation in various fields, including green development cooperation, strengthen people-to-people and cultural exchanges, and push bilateral relations to a higher level.
Jacob Sdottir expressed satisfaction with the development of Iceland-China relations, said that he attaches great importance to the development of Iceland-China relations, and is willing to actively deepen exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in the fields of gender equality, geothermal, climate change and other green development, so as to better respond to global challenges, and wished Iceland-China relations further development in the Year of the Dragon.
