In HBO's original series Six Feet Under, death is everywhere, and the Fisher family is responsible for taking care of the aftermath of the deceased. After the unexpected death of their father, Nathan Fisher (Peter Krauss) and his brother David (Michael C. Hall) inherit the family funeral home business. The play also tells the story of their mother, Ruth Fisher (Frances Conroy), and their sister Claire Fisher (Lauren Ambos), as the family grapples with their own emotional trauma as they face the separation of life and death in their careers.
Exclusively presented by Netflix, Life with the Walter Family Boys, based on Ali Novak's name**, tells the story of a teenage girl named Jackie Howard (Nikki Rodriguez) who is adopted by sympathetic George (Mark Brucas) and Catherine Walter (Sarah Lafferty) after losing her family in a car accident and moves from New York to a small town in Colorado. The Walter family already has several sons, including Cole (Noah Lalord), Alex (Ashby Garrett), and Danny (Connor Stamp). Despite her personal tragedy, Jackie has developed a strong bond with these brothers, and it remains to be seen if she will develop a love story with one of them.
