"Hot sliding" means that a copper slide plate is installed on the pantograph of the electric locomotive, and the ice of the catenary is swept away through the friction between the copper plate and the catenary, so as to maintain the normal power supply of the line. In the heavy transportation tasks and bad weather, the young people of the long machine based on their posts, faced the snow in the severe cold, and gathered the strength of youth to escort the Spring Festival.
Spike 12 hours
"The emergency order has been officially activated, everyone take action! ”At about 14 o'clock on February 1, the Changsha locomotive depot instructed the driver Yuan Qingyu to run between the office building and the locomotive maintenance area to prepare for the upcoming hot sliding task.
At 18:30, Yuan Qingyu led the first hot slip team to drive the locomotive out of the warehouse. Due to the "quick freezing" in northwest Hunan Province, his task tonight is to de-ice the catenary between Changde and Zhangjiajie West. As a new youth guide driver, this Spring Festival is the first Spring Festival transportation for Yuan Qingyu to become a manager, especially in the face of this special task in bad weather, he seems very worried.
At 22:03, Yuan Qingyu led the flight to Zhangjiajie West Railway Station and completed the first unilateral hot slide, but tonight is far from over. Since February 1, the line has been running three hot sliding locomotives every day to break the ice between Changde and Zhangjiajie. "'Hot sliding' may seem simple, but it's actually a very difficult task. Due to the multiple round trips, the running times are particularly long. Coupled with the freezing of ice and snow, locomotive maneuvering requires more attention than usual. During the operation, considering the impact of the blizzard, Yuan Qingyu always stood next to the driver and stared ahead, and when the driver was tired, he took the initiative to replace it to reduce the pressure of the flight shift.
At 6:31 on February 2, after 12 hours and two round-trips, Yuan Qingyu finally led the flight to complete the hot skating task. After arriving at the apartment, he continued to give feedback on the information on the line and sort out the key points in the task, and the hanging heart did not dare to let go. As Yuan Qingyu himself said, in a new position, everything is a new beginning, and "meticulous and diligent" is the best secret.
Since February 1st, he has led the team to hot skating for 3 consecutive days, and he is tired of watching for an average of more than 10 hours a night, but as a new guide driver, the passion and responsibility continue to shine in this cold wave.

At 19 o'clock on February 2, Liu Rui's class, which was resting in Zhangjiajie West, received a temporary dispatch order: 3 hot sliding locomotives needed to be started in the section from Changde to Zhangjiajie West. As a hot standby shift, after receiving the temporary task notice, Liu Rui's squad quickly went to report and prepare for tonight's rush hour.
In order to ensure the safety of the train, Liu Rui's machine class carried out the departure prediction of key operation links such as locomotive operation in ice and snow weather and fault disposal when the catenary was frozen. At 10:30 p.m., they were ordered to sail to the ice-covered route.
This mission is different from the previous hot slip, because the line of the value multiplication section is a high-speed rail section and a mountainous section, the line slope is large, and the exposed part of the rail has frozen under the continuous blessing of ice and rain. Therefore, for a young driver, how to combine the longitudinal section of the line and environmental factors to carry out safe operation is a big challenge.
At about 1 o'clock on February 3, Liu Ruiji's class had already started the second round-trip mission. At this time, the temperature plummeted in the early morning, and the ice seeds on the line quickly smashed into the locomotive. In order to ensure the absolute safety of driving, the flight team has always maintained a standard call response, hand over mouth, and will remind each other when the other party is slack. At 6:15, the two people who successfully completed the hot skating task immediately entered the apartment to rest and recover their energy for the next duty. Due to the shortage of personnel and the urgency of the task, they had to take the bottom of the train to Changsha that afternoon.
In this hot skating mission, the three classes, including Liu Rui, are young drivers who are no more than 28 years old. In the nearly 8-hour mission, they need to complete more than 2,000 command actions and more than 600 call-and-answer ......Despite being tired and rushing, each time it contains their awe of driving work and their pursuit of safety.
An early morning call
"We'll be there right away! ”At 1:40 on February 4, Xiao Yu and Liu Xuefeng, who were monitoring at Changsha Station, received an urgent notice: immediately return to the section to prepare for the hot sliding auxiliary traction task from Yueyang to Puqi.
In the face of the emergency, Xiao Yu, Liu Xuefeng and other 4 people from the Changsha Locomotive Depot were ordered to drive two DF4D locomotives out of the warehouse at 2:40. In this cold wave, many places in Hunan were hit by ice and snow. Due to the continuous heavy snow from Yueyang to Puqi and the tuyere, the electric locomotive may face the risk of not being able to raise the bow when it is hot sliding, so it is necessary to attach the diesel locomotive to carry out auxiliary traction tasks in case of emergency.
At 3:30, Xiao Yu and others arrived at Changsha North Railway Station and connected with the hot slip electric locomotive and began their bodyguard mission. "Assisted traction tends to be riskier than normal multiplication, so checking the coupler, air supply, etc., must be meticulous. Xiao Yu, the young instructor driver, kept reminding himself like this when he was carrying out the hanging operation.
As an important hub on the Beijing-Guangzhou line, the catenary equipment in Yueyang area is the basic guarantee for the smooth artery flow in Beijing, and the diesel locomotive as an auxiliary traction is an important guarantee to ensure the smooth thermal sliding. Due to the uncertainty of this mission, the large amount of tasks, and the lack of emergency supplies in a hurry, the four people could only rely on the time to stay in the station to make instant noodles in a hurry, and sometimes the water was not yet boiled, and the new traction task began again. In order to complete the task with high quality, the four people were tense at all times, for more than ten hours, they drove the DF4D locomotive in the Yueyang to Puqi section non-stop, and successfully completed the Beijing-Guangzhou line catenary de-icing task.
