A TV series "Flowers" made the city of Shanghai "out of the circle" again, triggering a wave of new exploration. From Huanghe Road to Jinxian Road, from the Bund to Nanjing Road, Guling Road, Peace Hotel, ......Behind the blooming of "flowers" is the bearing and charm of Shanghai, the oriental metropolis. On February 24th, the theme conference of "Why Shanghai, Aiming to Read in Yue" was held in the lecture hall of Xujiahui Academy, and people who love the city will set off again to read and explore the city in another way.
"Ambition to Read Yue" is a theme brand activity jointly launched by Shanghai Fangzhi Lecturer Group and Xujiahui Academy. Relying on the rich cultural and historical materials and expert resources of local chronicles, combined with major events and social hotspots, we plan and carry out various forms of reading activities such as corresponding theme lectures, citywalks, and readers' salons for citizen readers, from reading chronicles to understanding cities and cultures. Citizen readers who participate in the activity will also receive more reading rights and interests of Xujiahui Academy.
Fang Yunfang, director of Xuhui District Library (Xuhui Tushanwan Museum), said that the library is a temple of books, and local chronicles are an important part of Xuhui's collection. Local chronicles enjoy the reputation of "local encyclopedia" and are an important carrier of excellent traditional Chinese culture. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Shanghai successively carried out two rounds of revision, compiling a total of more than 300 chronicles, comprehensively, objectively and systematically recording the development process of Shanghai, and presenting all aspects of Shanghai's politics, economy, culture and society in a panoramic way. This year, the two sides will jointly launch the "Ambition Yue Reading" with the theme of "clothing, food, housing and transportation" of Shanghai people, decoding the city's historical changes, social outlook and cultural characteristics from multiple angles, forms and channels, telling the story of Shanghai, so that people who don't know Shanghai can understand Shanghai, and those who know Shanghai will love Shanghai more. At present, the annual list of ten events has been scheduled.
The first lecture of the day, "During the Chinese New Year, Shanghai people are going to make trouble?
