The battery compartment of most electronic door locks is located above or inside the door lock, and you can change the battery by opening the battery cover. Some models may require a small screwdriver or similar tool to open the battery cover.

Once you have opened the battery cover, remove the old battery. Pay attention to the model and charge of the old battery so that you know if you need to buy a new one.

Place the new battery in the battery compartment. Make sure to align the positive and negative poles of the battery with the ends on the door lock circuit board. Then, place the battery cover firmly over the battery, making sure that no dust or dirt gets between them and comes into contact with either terminal, which can cause corrosion.

It is recommended to check the dry battery of the door lock every six months to see if there is any leakage. If a leaking battery is found, the battery should be replaced immediately to prevent damage to the door lock caused by the battery fluid.

If the battery of the electronic door lock suddenly runs out, most of the smart locks are designed with an emergency plug-in interface with a USB interface, as long as you find a power bank, and then match the corresponding data cable, you can carry out temporary power supply, open the door first.
