Heavy metal contaminants such as lead in pig manure water are a common and serious environmental problem that requires effective treatment methods to remove. This study focused on the adsorption effect of pig manure hydrothermal charcoal as an adsorbent on lead, aiming to improve its application potential in the process of pig manure water treatment. Below is an overview of the main points of the study.
Firstly, pig manure hydrothermal charcoal was prepared by high-temperature pyrolysis, and its physical and chemical properties were characterized. It was found that pig manure hydrothermal charcoal had a large specific surface area, pore volume and functional group content, and showed good adsorption performance and catalytic activity, and had the potential to be used as an adsorbent.
Secondly, the adsorption capacity of pig manure hydrothermal char on lead was studied through batch adsorption experiments. The results showed that under the appropriate pH value and adsorbent dosage, the pig manure hydrothermal carbon showed a good adsorption effect on lead. The results of adsorption kinetics and isothermal adsorption experiments show that the adsorption process conforms to the quasi-second-order kinetic model and the Langmuir adsorption isothermal model.
The lead concentration of pig manure water after hot charcoal treatment was analyzed, and the removal effect of pig manure water hot charcoal on lead was evaluated. The results showed that the hydrothermal charcoal of pig manure had obvious adsorption and removal effect on the lead in pig manure water, effectively reducing the concentration of lead, and could provide technical support for the treatment and resource utilization of pig manure water.
The results show that pig manure hydrothermal charcoal has a potential application prospect as an adsorbent for the removal of lead. Further research can explore the optimal preparation method, recycling and engineering application of pig manure hydrothermal charcoal, so as to improve the lead adsorption efficiency and promote the environmentally friendly treatment and utilization of pig manure water.
