On February 2, Beijing time, a week before the trade deadline, the Rockets and Grizzlies have reached a deal. The Rockets sent Oladipo and three second-round picks to Grizzlies center Adams. Adams has been reimbursed for the season, and the Rockets got him in preparation for next season. It was previously reported that the Rockets have been looking to get a backup center. The Grizzlies got two '24 second-rounders and one '25 second-rounder. 
The Grizzlies are creating more salary flexibility and draft assets in the 2024 offseason, when they will have access to a high lottery pick and a chance to strengthen the puzzle around Morant, Jackson and Bane, Woj said. Adams' rebounding and defense are great additions for the Rockets next season. 
Adams is the No. 12 pick in 2013, 30 years old, 2.11 meters tall, weighing 120 kilograms, and has played 10 seasons in the NBA, averaging 92 points 82 rebounds 15 assists on 58 shooting7%。Oladipo has also been out of action this season due to injury, and he was the star of the list in 2013 and averaged 16 per game in his career9 points 45 rebounds and 39 assists.
