At the beginning of 2019, the County Women's Federation learned that there were 65 women of the "three elders" alive in the county, but none of them had specific deeds. Interviewing and excavating the story of "Revolutionary Mother" is a race against time. The wires were wrapped around the ten fingers that connected the heart, and the electricity flowed through every corner of the body little by little, and the whole body spasmed, the hands and feet twitched, and the mind was paralyzed, ......"In 1948, the Kuomintang carried out a large-scale encirclement and suppression in the Sanxi guerrilla area, and Lu Qunzhu was unlucky. In order to force her to confess the whereabouts of the Communist Party members and underground organizations in the village, the Kuomintang punched, kicked and electrocuted her, and Lu's mother, who was more than nine months pregnant at the time, gritted her teeth and refused to tell the truth about the party's secrets, and suffered inhuman torture for more than 20 days.
There are many touching stories of female revolutionaries like Lu's mother, including Zhou Meiying, a little woman who refused to give in to the torture of the enemy at the age of 15, Zheng Yuemei, a revolutionary mother who gave up her house to the soldiers and took care of the soldiers, Pan Jinying, who began to work as a traffic officer at the age of 6 and risked her life to deliver letters, and Wang Xiuying, who made 900 pairs of cloth shoes to support the front line of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea, ......They were full of enthusiasm for the revolution, hard-working, warm-hearted to their comrades, regarded them as relatives, were witty and brave in the face of the enemy, and would rather die than give in, and wrote a song of praise for women with their hard-working, intelligent, tenacious and brave female qualities during the revolutionary period, which are worthy of being sung by future generations.
After sorting out the story of Jinyun's "revolutionary mother", in order to better tell the revolutionary story and carry forward the revolutionary spirit, the County Women's Federation has built a series of carrier platforms for "telling the story of the revolutionary mother to you". Through the "'Revolutionary Mother' Story Telling Competition", a group of outstanding women speakers were selected, and the "'Revolutionary Mother' Story Telling Group" was established. Offline, the "Revolutionary Mother's Story to Tell You" activity was carried out with carriers such as "Millions of Women's Propaganda", "Moral Lecture Hall" and "Spring Mud Plan"; Online, record the story of "Revolutionary Mother" and make a series of reports on WeChat accounts at all levels.
