The unfunny Article 20 is life

In this year's Spring Festival Gala, the popular ones are Nigmaiti's magic assistant overturning and "Spring Mountain Learning", while the language programs are relatively bleak. And the missing jokes of the Spring Festival Gala can be said to be made up in Lao Mouzi's movie "Article 20".

After reading "Article 20", my thoughts surged like a tide, making people toss and turn, causing me to have trouble sleeping. I simply got up and wrote down this feeling:

The film takes Article 20 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China as a clue and delves into the theme of "the boundary and application of legitimate defense". Through three separate and closely connected storylines, the film deftly outlines the balance between the legal framework of justifiable defense and the moral choices of individual actions. Each story delves into the "boundaries of the law" in an exploratory manner, making people fall into contemplation.

When the law conflicts with simple morality, even if you do good deeds, you may become a bad person.

When the law begins to talk about human feelings, belated fairness cannot restore the broken lives of the parties at all.

In terms of subject matter, "Article 20", as the only film about social issues in the Spring Festival file of the Year of the Dragon, is very valuable, and the story revolves around the prosecutor Han Ming played by Lei Jiayin. Han Mingren is middle-aged, and the rate of career line hyperplasia is not as fast as that of the prostate, and the family conflict is more prominent than the waist disc.

It's a very ordinary person's life of firewood, rice, oil, salt, sauce, vinegar and tea, but because of his identity experience, it seems so unusual. His son, Han Yuchen, faced the consequences of administrative detention when he bravely protected his classmates who were bullied on campus, and his future was almost affected.

Although the core of the movie is more serious, the director uses a comedy to open up, and the performances of Lei Jiayin, Ma Li and others are also very humorous.

The experience of Wang Yongqiang's family has pushed this contradictory tension to a climax. In order to raise funds for the illness of his disabled daughter, Wang Yongqiang had to borrow from a local village tyrant for loan sharks. However, this act has been met with constant intimidation and insults, and the entire family has been drawn into a nightmare that has no end. After a long period of oppression and physical and mental torture, Wang Yongqiang finally led to the death of the aggressor in an extreme act of self-protection.

So, in extreme cases, should we push the boundaries of the law in order to protect ourselves and our families? If we push the boundaries of the law, how do we deal with the possible consequences?

It doesn't matter to ordinary people who don't understand Article 20, seeing this, I have somewhat realized that the original law cannot bow to the lawless! Mr. Guard
