When the files in the USB flash drive are deleted, you can try the following methods to recover the data:
1.Use data recovery software
* And install reliable data recovery tools like Recuva, Easeus Data Recovery Wizard, Disk Drill, etc.
Connect the USB flash drive to the computer, and make sure not to write new data to the USB flash drive before the operation, in case the deleted files are overwritten.
Open the software and select the USB flash drive device you want to scan.
Initiate a deep scan or a full scan, and the software will do its best to find files that have been deleted but have not yet been overwritten by new data.
When the scan is complete, preview the list of recoverable files, tick the files you need to recover, and click "Recover" button to save them to a safe location (not the original USB flash drive).
2.The system comes with a built-in file history function (applicable to Windows 10 and later versions).
If you have enabled the file history feature before, you can try to restore by right-clicking on the folder in the USB flash drive where the deleted files are located, selecting "Properties", and then switching to the "Previous Versions" tab.
3.Professional data recovery services
If none of the above methods are effective or the USB flash drive is physically damaged, you may need to seek help from a professional data recovery center. They have more advanced technology and equipment to handle hardware failures or severe data corruption.
4.Undo the deletion.
Some operating systems may support undoing the deletion in cases where you have just deleted it by mistake and no other action has been taken, such as through a key combination or other shortcut. However, this is usually limited to immediate actions, and once anything else has been done, this option may no longer be valid.
Note:If you find that a USB flash drive file is deleted by mistake, stop all read/write operations on the USB flash drive as soon as possible, preferentially use data recovery software to try to recover and avoid further data loss. At the same time, remember to back up your important data regularly to prevent such issues from happening.
