Citroen announced that it has added a new Hybrid 136 power model to its C4 and C4 X in the European marketBased on the 2-litre 3-cylinder engine and the new 48V hybrid technology, the manufacturer claims to reduce CO2 emissions by around 20% compared to a pure petrol engine with similar power output, starting from €33,200 for the C4 Hybrid 136 and €33,900 for the C4 x Hybrid 136.
The maximum horsepower has been increased to 136 hp with the new -DCS6 gearbox.
The Citroen C4 Hybrid 136 and C4 X Hybrid 136 models are equipped with the Group's new 48V hybrid technology, which the manufacturer points out will combine the advantages of a traditional petrol engine with electric power, and the hybrid system is born for the 1The 2-litre, 3-cylinder PureTech petrol turbocharged engine mated to the new DCS6 (6-speed) dual-clutch gearbox produces 136 hp at 5,500 rpm and 230 Nm of torque. m (1,750 rpm), in accordance with Euro 64 Standard Specifications.
The motor delivers around 12 extra horsepower for hard acceleration.
The Hybrid 136-powered C4 and C4 X are equipped with a battery pack with a usable capacity of 432 Wh, which can be stowed under the front seats, so that it will not be used as a rear seat or luggage storage space, while the -Motor permanent magnet synchronous motor can provide up to 21 kW of output, which can produce about 12 horsepower (hp) in the case of rapid acceleration to ensure the performance of the vehicle.
