Shuocheng No. 4 Middle School inherits the spirit of the Constitution and builds a socialist civilization under the rule of law

On November 1, 2014, the 11th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 12th National People's Congress passed a decision to establish December 4 as the National Constitution Day, marking the special importance that China attaches to the Constitution. In order to celebrate the arrival of the 10th National Constitution Day, Shuocheng District No. 4 Middle School held a series of activities with the theme of "vigorously promoting the spirit of the Constitution and building a socialist culture of rule of law". During the event, Wang Xueliang, vice president of the legal system of the school and president of the case filing division of the Shuocheng District People's Court, came to the scene and gave a vivid lecture on legal knowledge for the teachers and students.

In the lecture, President Wang explained the origin and development of the Constitution and its status and role in China's legal system in simple terms with the theme of "Learning the Constitution and Sowing a Seed of the Rule of Law". He emphasized the impact of the Constitution on all aspects of an individual's life, detailing the key role of the Constitution in each person's life, from birth, school, work, retirement, etc. President Wang also quoted the views of a professor at Harvard Law School who pointed out that the Constitution is a mobile language in which generations of people in a country participate in dialogue, emphasizing the importance of the Constitution in the hearts of citizens.

President Wang's lecture used concise and clear language to convey the knowledge of the Constitution, so that the students had a deeper understanding of the Constitution. He called on young people to attach importance to the study of the Constitution, establish an awareness of the rule of law in the Constitution, and become a new force in the construction of the socialist rule of law. He encouraged the students to abide by the rules and regulations in their daily lives, cultivate the quality of abiding by the law and discipline, honesty and trustworthiness, start from small things, and contribute to the construction of a socialist rule of law culture.

This event is not only a ceremony to celebrate the National Constitution Day, but also a useful attempt to carry out in-depth publicity and education on the Constitution.

Through a series of activities such as learning the law, drawing, writing, singing, etc., the students have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the Constitution, and establish their admiration and belief in the Constitution. The school will continue to promote the publicity and education of the Constitution through various means, so that more teachers and students can deeply understand the basic knowledge and importance of the Constitution, and work together to promote the spirit of the Constitution and defend the authority of the Constitution.
