Li Wenge, vice chairman of the Hohhot CPPCC, said in his speech that under the background of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Party Committee's proposal to launch the "Northern Xinjiang Culture" brand and the in-depth study of Northern Xinjiang culture throughout the region, the CPPCC will include the painstaking work of the young scholar Zhao Ziyang who spent ten years measuring with his feet and writing with love - "Yinshan Elechuan - The Historical Corridor of Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Culture" into Hohhot's cultural and historical materials, which is an important measure and practical action for the in-depth implementation of the autonomous region's brand building of "Northern Xinjiang Culture". It is also a little contribution to the study of northern Xinjiang culture.
Yinshan Elechuan - The Historical Corridor of Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Culture" was selected as a special key project for the popularization of social sciences in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 2023, and was included in the major historical and cultural projects of the Hohhot CPPCC, which was completed by young scholar Zhao Ziyang in ten years. The author has gone deep into the "internal organs" of Yinshan more than 500 times, measured the land of northern Xinjiang with footsteps, traveled about 60,000 miles in total, inspected a large number of cultural relics and relics, and pieced together fragments of history. The book has a total of more than 600,000 words and more than 270 pictures, which show many geographical edges such as Yinshan, Eilechuan, the Yellow River, Hohhot, Shengle, and Six Towns, covering hot topics of general concern to the society, such as ecology, the Great Wall, and Biansai poems. Na Ribi Lige, a scholar of the Yangtze River and a professor at Inner Mongolia Normal University, pointed out that "Yinshan Elechuan - The Historical Corridor of the Blending of Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Cultures" is a historical monograph on the integration of agriculture and animal husbandry cultures in the Yinshan Elechuan area, and the author's historical process of the integration of agriculture and animal husbandry culture in this region is of great value for understanding the history and culture of China's northern Xinjiang region.
