Five Card Draw is a popular poker game, also known as five-card draw, that has a wide player base in some parts of China. It is a relatively simple poker game that is suitable for 2 to 5 players. The goal of the game is to have the highest possible hand combination after a round of drawing and drawping. Here's the basic gameplay of Little Five:
Use playing cards: A deck of 52 cards, removing the king.
Determine the bookmaker: The dealer in the first hand can be determined by random drawing of cards or other means, after which it can be rotated in a clockwise direction.
Betting Limits: Determine the minimum and maximum bet limits before the game starts.
Dealing: The dealer deals 5 cards to each player, face down.
The first round of betting: Start with the first player to the left of the dealer and proceed in a clockwise direction. Players can choose to call, raise, or fold.
Draw cards: After the first round of betting, starting from the left of the dealer, the player can choose to keep any number of cards in his hand and discard the rest. The dealer will deal out the original 5 cards from the pile to each player who discards.
Second round of betting: After the card draw, the second round of betting is carried out in the same way as the first round.
Showdown: At the end of the second round of betting, all players who have not folded reveal their hands and compare their hand ranks.
Royal Flush: A-k-Q-J-10 of the same suit.
Straight flush: A straight of the same suit.
Four: Four cards of the same rank.
Hulu: Three cards of the same rank plus two other cards of the same rank.
Flush: Five cards of the same suit.
Straight: Five cards of consecutive value.
Three of a kind: Three cards of the same rank.
Two pairs: Two pairs of different pips.
Pairs: Two cards of the same rank.
High card: The highest card that does not match any of the above hand types.
In the showdown phase, the winner is determined based on the rank of the hand in the player's hand.
If two or more players have the same rank, the player with the highest value of the hand is compared, and the player with the higher rank wins.
If the highest number is the same, the points of the next highest card are compared, and so on until a winner is decided.
The Little Five is loved by many players because of its simple rules and ease of play. However, like all poker games, the Little Five is not just a matter of luck, but also requires the player to use strategy and mental tactics.
