Fujian Rule of Law News - Strait Rule of Law**, February 21 1 action, 4 judges, 140,000 yuan, 21 thumb prints ......On February 5, on the eve of the Spring Festival in the Year of the Dragon, the Fuding Municipal People's Court applied the "fast trial and quick execution" model to ask for 140,000 yuan in wages for 21 migrant workers. Behind the figures is the court's determination to do a deep and active judiciary, adhere to the concept of good faith and civilized enforcement, and make every effort to protect the rights and interests of the parties to win the lawsuit.
It turned out that 21 workers from Dongyuan Village, Taishun County, Zhejiang Province, had been employed by a construction engineering company to construct a certain highway pavement. But the road was repaired, the project was audited and settled, but the total salary of 140,000 yuan has not been reached to Lao Dong and others. Seeing that the Spring Festival was approaching and the arrears of wages were still not settled, Lao Dong and others, who were very anxious, rushed to the Fuding Court Enforcement Service Center in early February to consult and ask for help.
After verification, we found that a case was being executed by a construction engineering company where Lao Dong and others were employed, and the company's account had been frozen and could not provide collection materials, so the employer suspended the payment of the project payment. During this period, there are indeed 140,000 yuan of migrant workers' wages that have not yet been paid. The judge in charge of the case introduced.
In recent years, in order to let the migrant worker brothers "pay a safe salary" for the New Year, the Fuding Court immediately launched the 2024 Zhiyuan Resolution No. 1 series of cases to coordinate the issue of project payment with the employer. After receiving the court's Notice of Assistance in Enforcement, the employer also actively cooperated and promptly transferred a total of 140,000 yuan of migrant workers' wages to the court's special account for enforcement funds. At the same time, considering that Lao Dong and others are mostly elderly and their homes are inconvenient to go back and forth in Taishun, on the afternoon of February 5, the Fuding Court carried out a cross-provincial enforcement action, applying the "fast trial and quick execution" model to provide "one-stop" services for 21 migrant workers in case filing, mediation and enforcement. On the same day, with the assistance of the local village committee, 21 migrant workers completed the case filing and execution procedures on the spot. The salary of 140,000 yuan has also been distributed to them through the special account for court enforcement.
Wages and remuneration are related to the vital interests of migrant workers, and safeguarding the rights and interests of migrant workers in wages and remuneration is of great significance to ensuring the improvement of people's livelihood and promoting social harmony and stability. The Fuding Court has always adhered to the principle of "due diligence and fast execution" in cases involving migrant workers' wage arrears, and cashed in "real money" for migrant workers in a timely manner to ensure their income.
