What are the criteria for a good student? What do you want your child to be like?

In today's society, the family's investment in children's education can be said to have reached the highest peak, which is unprecedented in the past 100 years, reflecting people's attention to education and nurturing the next generation, and also reflecting the situation of survival pressure in today's society. Not only the investment of money, but also the comprehensive investment of time, energy, emotion, etc., so what is the standard for paying so many good students? Or what kind of person do you want your child to be?

In fact, there is no single standard answer, but there are some common characteristics that a good student should have:

1. Physical and mental health. Good health is easy to understand, that is, there is no disease, and his growth and development are in line with his age, whether it is height, weight, or appearance, they are all consistent with his age. It's normal development. The focus is on mental health, especially in adolescence and rebellious years, how to resist the interference of the outside world such as mobile phones, networks, games, etc., and maintain a pure heart for learning and focus on learning, which is very important.

Mental health also requires a sunny, enthusiastic, and positive attitude, rather than a negative mentality of asking for nothing and lying flat. It is necessary to have the enthusiasm and motivation to pursue knowledge and be healthy and upward, rather than being passive and misanthropic and indifferent.

2. Be independent and self-disciplined in life. In the past, people used to say: dolls love the dead. It refers to the child's ability to take the initiative to complete housework or some tasks within his ability, such as: cleaning, sweeping, mopping, taking the initiative to clean up the dishes and chopsticks, washing his own clothes, tidying up his room, and being neat and orderly. The reason why I say this is because today's children are too lacking in this area. The ancients said: If you don't sweep a house, how can you sweep the world. And now most middle school students, even college students, look good in front of people, at least their clothes are neat and clean, but they don't dare to look at their beds and rooms, it's a mess.

So I think that being independent and doing my own things by myself should be put second. Self-discipline in life not only requires independence, but also includes the concept of time, such as work and rest time, the end of the day, etc., which cannot be delayed and passed.

3. Honesty and kindness. This is the minimum quality of a person, honesty and trustworthiness, not deceiving superiors and subordinates, and treating others with a kind heart, which is very valuable. Honesty is not only external, but also about being honest with one's own heart and being true to one's own ideas.

4. Cheerful personality, willing to express, and socially barrier-free. Nowadays, there are many children, especially those in adolescence and rebellious periods, who are withdrawn, unwilling to communicate with others, and lock themselves in their rooms all day long, immersed in their own little world, and do not communicate with the outside world, which is terrible. Therefore, being cheerful, willing to express oneself, and being socially accessible are also very important traits of a good student.

5. Good academic performance. The fact that I put my academic performance at No. 5 shows that I don't think a good student is determined by his grades alone. I believe that if a student has the above four characteristics, then his academic performance will not be bad, and his academic performance should be very good after having the above four characteristics.

Sixth, the three views are correct. Although the three views will change with age and environmental changes, no matter at which stage they should be positive, not pessimistic, and full of positive energy. The formation of the three views is not an overnight thing, it needs to be cultivated slowly, and it may not be very clear, but the general direction cannot be deviated.

The above six points are my personal standards for a good student, and also as a parent's expectations, I wonder what you want from your child? What do you want him to be like? Welcome to leave a message in the comment area to discuss.
