Lost the App Store on your iPhone? Do you need to get it back?
While users may not be able to view the App Store for some reason, it can be fairly easy to recover if you have the right information.
There are a few different ways to get back your lost App Store, so keep reading to learn more.
How do I restore the App Store on my iPhone?
1.Use Search
For most users, this is probably the easiest way to get the App Store back to the home screen.
In general, searching the App Store before completing the other steps is often the easiest way to make sure the App Store is still accessible.
From the home screen, swipe down to open Spotlight Search. If the App Store isn't already at the top of Siri's suggestions, enter App Store in the search bar. If the App Store appears, open it and click it. You can also long-press the App Store icon to drag it back to the home screen. 2.Find the app store through the app library
In addition to Spotlight search, checking the App Library is another easy way to find the App Store if you need to access the App Store.
To access the App Library page, simply swipe left on the last page of the home screen.
The App Store will be located in the Utilities Library.
There will also be a search bar at the top. Alternatively, you can also swipe down on this screen to view the apps alphabetically.
3.Change the app store restrictions through the settings
One feature that Apple can't ignore is Screen Time, which allows restricting apps and even preventing new apps from being installed.
The restriction may even depend on age appropriateness. It's also important to know that if you or someone with access to your device blocks** a new app, the App Store will automatically see the deletion on your device.
Users won't be able to see the App Store until this setting is turned off.
Use Screen Time to change App Store limits.
Open Settings and select Screen Time.
Note: If you get a message that says "Turn on Screen Time," it means it's not the reason why your App Store is missing. Proceed to another tip.
Go to Content & Privacy Restrictions.
Select iTunes and App Store purchases. You may be asked to enter your Screen Time passcode. This is a passcode that is set separately from the lock screen passcode, so it may not be the same.
Under the "Install Apps" section, make sure it is set to "Allow".
4.If you have a time limit or hourglass
While Screen Time allows users to completely restrict access to the App Store, there are ways to set a limit on how long an app can be used.
Often, guardians can use this feature to disable apps, such as social or streaming services.
In general, it is also possible to set a time limit for all apps, which means that the app store will be limited as well.
You can tell if your app has a time limit by the hourglass icon next to the app on the home screen.
Opening the app will show you a time limit message indicating that you have reached the app's time limit.
Seeing this icon means that the restriction will continue until midnight.
However, if you know the password, you can bypass this screen by selecting "Request more time".
If you want to get rid of the app's time limit, follow these steps:
Go to Settings > Screen Time > App Restrictions.
Turn off app restrictions. Alternatively, you can swipe left on the App Store's restrictions and select Delete > Remove Restrictions. Can I delete the app store?
Worried that you've deleted the App Store from your iPhone or iPad?
Don't worry; Actually, you can't delete important apps like App Store.
Apple has your back. However, it is easy to accidentally hide it with certain settings, making it difficult to spot it in the app library or when searching.
Sometimes, it's so well hidden that even Siri can't help find it. If you're racking your brains and don't know that it went**, it might just be hidden from your home screen.
No big deal, though. There are plenty of simple fixes to make the App Store reappear.
If you've lost your App Store, these solutions can help you find it. With these steps, users should be able to regain access to the App Store.
