Wang Wentian said in his exchange with Chinese students that China and Cambodia have entered a new era of building a high-quality, high-level and high-standard China-Cambodia community with a shared future, and are jointly committed to building a "diamond six-sided" cooperation framework, building an "industrial development corridor" and a "fish and rice corridor", and the exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in various fields have continued to deepen and achieved fruitful results. 2024 is the Year of People-to-People Exchanges between China and Cambodia, and the two countries will continue to strengthen exchanges and exchanges among the younger generation and create a new situation for people-to-people exchanges. He encouraged Chinese students to study hard, fully demonstrate the demeanor of Chinese youth in the new era, and contribute to the inheritance and promotion of the traditional friendship between China and Cambodia.

Dr. Oum R**y, Vice President of the Royal University of Phnom Penh, said that Chinese students are important human resources for Cambodia-China friendship and a bridge for Cambodia-China friendship and cooperation, and hoped that students would have a deep understanding of Cambodia's customs, culture, traditions and history, so as to promote the continuous development of relations between the two countries.
On the day of the event, the consular protection staff of the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia also held a special lecture on safe study abroad and a safe Spring Festival. It is understood that most of the Chinese students majoring in Cambodian at the Royal University of Phnom Penh are coming to Cambodia for the first time. The students said that the "Spring Festival Bag" distribution activity made everyone deeply feel the warmth and care from the motherland in a foreign country, and felt the strong flavor of the New Year, and they would cherish the time, study hard, and be a good disseminator of Sino-Cambodian culture and friendship.
