Have you ever encountered such a situation: you have an idea in your heart, but you are afraid to communicate with your leader? Worried about saying the wrong thing, afraid of embarrassment, or feeling like the timing is not right? In fact, this hesitation will only make you miss the opportunity and make you regret it.
That's what happened to me. Many years ago, at a unit meeting, I impulsively expressed my opinion because I was dissatisfied with a certain work arrangement, and as a result, I annoyed the leader. Afterwards, I realized my mistake, but I was hesitant to apologize.
It dragged on for two years, and it wasn't until I went out to a meeting with the leader that I mustered up the courage to apologize. Unexpectedly, the leader had already put this matter behind him and forgave me with a smile. At that moment, it dawned on me: it turned out that communicating with the leader is not so difficult, the key is to overcome my own psychological barriers and take that step bravely.
In fact, there are many similar examples. For example, there is a reader who has been working in the mixed materials position for many years and wants to change his position because he is older. He has been hesitating when it is more appropriate to talk to the leader, but it has dragged on for more than a year. I told him, don't hesitate any longer, hurry up and talk to the leader! Otherwise, the new leader may not agree to your job rotation application after taking office.
So why is it so easy for us to get bogged down in hesitation? There are many reasons for this: it may be the fear of saying the wrong thing, it may be the fear of rejection by the leader, or it may be the feeling that the timing is not right. But the truth is, these worries are often unnecessary. Leaders are also human beings, and they also have their own thoughts and emotions. As long as we express our thoughts and demands sincerely, most of the time, they are willing to listen and understand.
So, look no further! If you want to communicate with the leader, act now! It doesn't matter if you're timid or worried, if you have the idea in a moment, be brave enough to make it happen. Trust me, when you take that step, you will find that everything is not so difficult. And, not only will it help you get rid of procrastination, but you'll also feel more comfortable in the workplace.
Remember: opportunities are always reserved for those who dare to act! Don't let hesitation get in the way, be brave and go after what you want!
